I can see that this review is ruffling some feathers. So let me just say this, everyone is entitled to their own…
Omgash! Sucks that people can't take other people's different opinion like an adult. I've had this encounter many times.
Although, I have to say I agree with everything your review says. This season didn't make sense to me and I disliked everything about it. Starting from Ryuuji, he was such a freaken psycho, obsessed with death, and a coward who did not want to die alone but always trying to implicate others. I did not get his weak ass character at all! The whole entire time I'm just like dude, just do everyone a favor and off yourself; stop bringing people into your delulu obsession when you're the only one who wants to seek it.
Usagi's reason for entering borderland made no complete sense to me and to have her get an epiphany out of nowhere at the last episode was just lazy writing. Plus, she was defending a person who she barely knew "Ryuuji" against Arisu? WTFlip. That guy just proved to you what his motives were, and manipulated you back into the borderland where you worked so hard previously with Arisu to escape. When she got back her memories, first instinct would be to smack the guy and isolate him; IDK why she was still on his side? Also, Ryuuji never apologized for involving Usagi and Arisu for his own obsession is what is getting my blood boiled. Arisu should have punched him out of that wheelchair for making them try to escape death again.
And, that joker who was obsessed with ML? Idk why they gave him that much power? Like the watchman stated, he's there to observe people passing through borderland or basically passing through death itself. So how the heck did the watchman let a citizen manipulate real and living people to come into borderland is beyond me and these citizens should have already been killed for breaking that order.
I was nice and gave this drama a 6.5 because of my love for 1&2 and a soft spot for Arisu and the actress for Usagi or else it would have been 6 or even lower.
π€£ Omgah! That ending was so ridiculous and I'm saying it nicely cause I didn't want to curse.
π Ryuji annoyed the crap outta me! Dragging everyone down for his selfish needs and cult beliefs. He never even apologized.
Usagi got me kinda annoyed in this season too because I'm like why didn't you wait at the train station for your boy? Like hello? You just saw him in another train - he ain't far away. She even got into this mess because of her dad - we didn't get any good story out of it either until the very last ep where she just had an epiphany out of nowhere?...okay...Honestly, story should have shown her struggles with Arisu by her side with these internal struggles because he's been through it and he will always be the one who will lift her up while she's down or in danger vice versa they keep each other alive. But, nooo story decides to give us unnecessary scenes with Ryuji π€¨. Like whuuuut?! Also, I know Usagi can fight so IDK why she didn't knuckle Ryuji down during the water drag π.
And, because of the lack of story and reason, the journey was questionable. I mean this season proves what we all thought the borderland was. So, good luck watching π«‘!
Daayuum! ML does not fear the emperor at all π€£ and I'm here for the show. I think ML has survived so many betrayals…
Also, why does ML have like the best lines?! Teaser for ep 16, He told FL that he'll turn her enemies to bones at her feet and I threw the white flag. Girl, just give in π.
Daayuum! ML does not fear the emperor at all π€£ and I'm here for the show. I think ML has survived so many betrayals and death life situations that he doesn't give a f*** and this doesn't faze him.
LOL! I was just telling my sister after the end of ep 10 when they revealed Jinxiu emperor, a familiar face, and I'm like damn they got all the good looking guys in here. I wouldn't know who to choose although not as charming and devilish as Feng Suige but my heart would skip a bit for the 2nd ML and his brother too π.
Ugh, the sis is so annoying! I feel so bad for the ML. Dang, he's trying to stop something potentially bad from happening to her. He fought countless wars to gain power so that he can protect her, but sis is willing to break his heart, marry his enemy, and possibly walk into that trap. Sighs, just let her suffer, sheesh!
Okay, I'm assuming one of her brother betrayed her, the calm and tall one. His reaction in ep 5 was weird. He was first shocked at the news of her being alive and then proceeds to be the most calmest one.
Loved this! Honestly, thought the rating should be higher. It was super, super sweet when the leads got together.
First time I've seen in a historical Cdrama where the ML asked for permission from FL to sleep with her, and taking meds for 3 yrs because he loves FL too much and did not want her to suffer during childbirth π₯°.

At least, Arisu delivers as always.
I'm at the end of ep 2, and I'm just like daaamn they better keep up this tone for ML because he's not here to play so don't mess with him.
