The vests look so boxy too. Just a rectangle without any cinch to the waist. Korean fashion usually isn't sleeveless…
I really don't feel that she wears appropriate business outfits for the most part. The vests, and that bit in ep 6 when she had a short top that uncovered a bit of her belly. Really odd choices. But both the ep 1 dress and the blind date outfits from ep 6 were really good! So I'd call it uneven
This was billed forever as an IU and Park Bo Gum drama. Now it appears they won't even be in it in the latter…
They have been at the forefront, sure, as it is their long-awaited comeback. But it's common knowledge that the older versions of characters will appear at some point, imo it's hard to miss that info.
Ehhh after the heartbreak and misunderstandings of ep 6, I desperately want our main leads to go back to supporting each other in ep 7. This was the best part of the show by far!
I'd say, if you enjoy a romcom that's full of cliches, but ultimately well done, like Her Private Life or Shitting Stars, you'll like this one. If you don't enjoy this kind of dramas then maybe it won't be up your alley.
i replied same comment to someone but it is also my opinion on drama since some people LOVE this drama too muchIt…
Why should he tone it down? He enjoys it in his free time. It doesn't affect his work. His personal life is more affected by his traumas than by his hobby tbh, as we see that he can't meet his teammates openly. He has no kids or spouse to take care of. And honestly? If I had that kind of money my house would look the same lol. I get that he doesn't represent you but it is nice to see a otaku representation once every blue moon. As you said, there are many other dramas that do not have this element, so you can enjoy them all you want.
Yeah, I think so too. The ML is too good for her honestly.
I can get behind it it if the parents at least put some effort to apologize and make it right but in most cases they simply invite the main leads to dinner or sth and not treat them like shit for 1 time and thats it, they're forgiven lol
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I wasn't a total fan of the ML from wwwsk. He had amazing chemistry with the FL, sure, but he was very self-centered, to the point I didn't really connect to him. Meanwhile here, CHW takes a lot of inspiration from wwwsk, but makes his chaebol character relatable, cute and actually funny. I really love that ML and FL are friends before becoming lovers, didn't know I needed to see this trope so much.
Weird how this was not on my ptw list, but it's better imo than top 2 recent dramas I've waited so long for. I know some people don't like comparing dramas, so just let me say that the ML at least has some hobbies outside of work and his relationship/family (unlike Love Scout) and pretty much every character, except for grandma, is lovable (unlike Melo Movie)
He insists on her going to car mechanic not cause he's just trying to get her a new car to impress her, but cause he has childhool trauma and is simply worried for her - that's great, consistent character writing!
But both the ep 1 dress and the blind date outfits from ep 6 were really good! So I'd call it uneven
