I am very disappointed with this one. No wonder people are rooting for the second couple, at least they show some chemistry. The main leads have zero chemistry, and I haven't seen such a bad case of this in kdramas in a long time. I'm not sure whose fault is it, director's, actors'... but I'm very disappointed with Choi Woo Shik over all, he's shown no emotion for most of this drama. Even if his character is hiding his emotions, Kim Jae Wook shows how it should be done. You can see so many emotions in his eyes, compared to CWS... The drama is okayish over all, pretty to look at, not that boring, but has a lot of room for improvement. Ehhh. All dramas I'm looking forward to just turn bland. I was waiting so long for this one... if When Life Gives You Tangerines disappoints me too I dunno what I'll do -,-
The bright point of the drama for me was Cha Woo Min. Whenever he was on screen I was happy. He breathed some…
Just what I wanted to write after finishing ep 5. All the superb actors they gathered for this drama act very one note, gloomy and detached, except for Kim Jae Wook (his eyes tell soo much about his feelings) and Cha Woo Min, who at least has a happier attitude. I get that they all struggle with something, but damn, this is hard to watch and believe that their feelings for each other are blooming.
I see the heavy referencing to OBS, but the starting point is pretty weak - FL being hung up on a guy who ghosted her 5 years ago? In OBS the bad blood between leads made sense cause they dated for a long time before their breakup. But I honestly hardly remember much about my ex from 5 years ago, let alone some guys I knew for a month and they ghosted me...
I agree it's not my idea of a first date unless it is Halloween (which it wasn't)!
Exactly 😅 I thought there might have been some buildup that I missed for that scene (like them doing some kind of research/visiting their friend's haunted house/I dunno haha) but I guess there wasnt
What kind of consequences do you think he should face? He never used any illegal means to achieve his goals, so…
No no, I mean the plot before the one you mentioned - there was a recruitment for a government position, ministry of economy if I remember correctly. He tried to get FL to refer his candidate, and when she refused, he got her nemesis to do it. That's what started the conflict between FL and 2ML's father. Dunno how illegal it was for him tho, if he could be prosecuted or not...
I watch this drama coz of male lead. But i have one question where does his daughter go when is romancing with…
No idea. No nanny or grandma was introduced other than 2FL's family. And leaving his kid with her while he's on a date feels kinda... weird, considering her past crush on him.

He was trying to force the FL to recommend his candidate for a government position, ans in the end, it was done through her nemesis. Dunno about it being illegal, but it's def unethical. And he was an ass to his son. So imo it shouldn't have ended with their reunion. Also he's rich, so losing FL's company had no impact on him probably.
So 2ml's dad got basically no consequences for how he treated the FL? Treated everybody like they are disposable the whole season, his son included, and changed his attitude after seeing one photo? Very unsatisfactory...
I never get this, I mean they are already dating why are they shocked?! This also reminds me of when there’s…
This is typical kdrama level of ridiculousness. The leads should basically live like monks before they meet each other, and preferrably - until marriage.
Ehhh I hate how the 2nd couple basically spent more time simping over leads than falling in love with each other. Over time, I started to like them way more fhan our main couple, they both seem more human to me. But they got barely like 3 mins this episode, and no screentime in 10th episode? Such a waste.
Naah I don't think so. It's weird tho, cause it's an obvious "obstacle" plot (more realistic than childhood connection…
Yeah! I usually think that it's cause our leads have to be as pure and innocent as can be... so that even if they were in relationships before, the relationships couldn't be serious, you know, as their new relationship should be their first true love in viewers' eyes...
