Miao Ansu what are u doing blindly trusting a man u met like 5 times over your own sworn sister with whom you…
Well, tbh we've seen worse toxic leads in cdramas and justified them 🀣 (story of kunning palace)

On a scale of 1 to 10: How satisfying is the ending???????
8/10 to me - the political intrigue is not very complex or surprising, but over all every plot is closed and we get a sweet happy ending, so I'm satisfied

I love her trousers in the last scene of ep 6 πŸ₯°
I have no idea how she kept it lean for the whole day, especially with her clumsiness 🀣

Actually I enjoyed second half of the show more πŸ˜… been kinda done with all dramas stopping at marriage or even before marriage, so it was nice to see a happily married couple for once. The show wasn't outstanding or anything, but was good enough in this current cdrama drought. My main complaint was that for most of the show I felt too little emotions. Dunno if it was the acting, or the dubbing being mostly pretty tame, but I could have used a stronger connections to the characters.

Why is there suddenly so many haters of him in comment section
It's a weird article for a start... people don't feel sympathy for wealthy actors sad about their movie's financial flop I guess. But yeah, I was surprised too with the comments. Very agressive.

Also I'm starting to feel that having 2FL and 2ML have feelings for main leads from the beginning is an easy way for the writers to give them some sort of semi-development, but it's a cop-out imo. Like instead of giving them actual character development their whole shtick is that they have to forget about their past love and move on. I've seen it too many times to be excited...

Not them literally making sure we see him working late when everyone left even more with editing πŸ˜…This episode…
I feel the same was about the time here. I mean, sure, I guess I could get over it if they didn't literally have ML take paternity leave in the past, cause he was not spending enough time with his daughter. I get that she said that she's okay now and he can focus on his career (if a kid her age can even say that...) and I guess they are spending weekends together or sth, but at least adress it in some way that not only does he have to do his job, but he also has a second job as a carpenter and a cleaner after hours lol.
I get a similar ick with costume cdramas when they portray characters who travel all around China in a matter of days if not hours, like how? Give me an explanation πŸ˜…

Tbh, I felt like the first episode promised a drama with more focus on the main characters, their struggles with job, children, friends, and their mental damage from the past. But after ep 4, I feel like we're moving in a more light-hearted direction, which is fine, but I was hoping for something more extraordinary. And I realised that all of the melo/SoL dramas I consider extraordinary have the extra ingredient of characters overcoming their struggles. Sure, we get a bit of that with the FL (her health issues and fire trauma) tho it was only really prominent in ep 2. And the ML after overcoming his work struggles in eps 1-2 (which was great, jow he talked to his peers about it and felt helpless) is just perfect. No money struggles, time and long working hours is never a problem, he's patient to no end. And I know we're in kdramaland, where green flags are always celebrated but give me something to prove that he's a human. And no, low spice tolerance won't cut it. It's not the actor's fault tho, don't get me wrong. I enjoy his acting.
Overall, it's still a nice watch but I was hoping for a bit more. As someone mentioned, 2ML is more interesting atp.

is there comedy? or is it more like slice-of-life with a touch of romance drama
I wouldn't say it's comedy-heavy with a lot of gags, but it has a lot of lighter moments. Overall I would say its SoL with touch of romance and comedy, but definitely not a melodrama for now.

Isn't it like the bare minimum for an actor to prepare for their role though?
I'd guess that the actors who make do with their skills have already been in the industry long enough to not require a lot of additional training, as they can rely on their existing experience. While Jisoo is still a rookie actor, so she would have to learn everything from the scratch. But maybe I'm wrong...

Nop, it's two families. The male lead and his son and his neighbours who is also a single mom with one kid. The…
Also the mother will most probably be paired with the 2ML. So there shouldn't be a triangle (at least I hope so...)
