My theory about the FL's ex-company "murder" case: I think the male sunbae did something unethical and FL reported him/ forced him to report himself. And then he commited suicide from the guilt. So that the rest of the employees and the evil female sunbae (who maybe don't know the whole truth) blame the FL. And she doesn't want to speak badly about the dead so she doesn't reveal the truth.
The tale of lady ok achieved double digits ratings yesterday despite its still premiering in the timeline where…
Yeah cause the release of Squid Game may affect the overall number of people watching, but it doesn't affect the percentage ratings, as the overall sum is still 100%, and Netflix doesn't count.
this drama is not gonna age well. Right now you can clearly see those who can objectively judge a drama for what…
How do we rate it objectively though? Every rating is subjective and based on our views, experience, emotions that the show brought in us. I myself am a bit picky and critical overall, but who am I to say that someone else's rating is invalid... The ending of WTPR bothered me, but for example the ending of Her Private Life (pretty universally criticized) didn't bother me at all and didn't ruin my experience. I mean, if people enjoyed the drama, good for them.
I know there are bigger issues with ep 12, but I kinda don't know how to feel about PDJ, a man who pushed and almost killed HJ, working again with BSE... Everything else was done directly by rBSE but the cliff situation is unforgivable! He should be in jail (edit: longer. At least a few years)...
When saeon used 604 to call heejo I thought it was from Vancouver because that our number code ðŸ˜
That would have been way better. I'll reimagine the last episode with homeless BSE hiding in Vancouver, writing emo poems and reciting them in bars cause he is so sad and edgy and he has to punish himself
Tbh, i felt a slight decline in suspense since 8 ep already but I still found pleasure in watching the show. Ep 12 was bad, but I can stomach it. Tbh, I've seen worse endings which ruined the whole drama for me and which made me sick for weeks (worst example will forever be Mr Queen)... This isn't one of them. It's just that I wished for this drama to be masterpiece, and its "only" really good. But I had a great experience watching it and talking about it with you guys. So a solid 8/10 for me, pretty solid in my books!
But what does the bad guy say when he calls Heejo? I hear "Eonniaaaaa"But isn't it normally Eonni? Or I can't…
Adding -ya is a cuter and more familiar way to call sb in Korea. Just like ML calls FL Hee Joo-ya sometimes. So he calls her onni-ya, as he wants to sound even creepier
Wow. I'm very impressed rn. I love that it's not an over the top rom-com. The only thing I don't really get is the colour grading - it was pretty inconsistent a d changed a lot of times in the 1st ep. But maybe they will work it out. Overall, very nice! But the kind of drama that will fly under the radar internationally unfortunately...
honestly I find it a bit inconsistent with the real Sa Eon's character that he'd have the forethought to lie to…
Hahahaha it must have been some sort of tragic miscommunication between them. I dont believe that fBSE could have done it intentionally either, as he fails pretty much at everything he puts his mind to. Honestly, the most tragic character in this drama is the fisherman who had to put up with rSE's bullshit for 20 years. Dunno how he kept this man under cover, as even without memory he had to have been a pain in the ass.
