I've watched first two eps and it's... kinda off. Like the leads have a romantic reunion, but the romance had no time to bloom? And then the FL even points it to ML's face and the whole situation comes out as pretti ridiculous? It's weird and offputting. Really don't know what this drama is supposed to be.
Not me sad abt not being able to watch it on the release day cause I'll be spending valentines with my husband, lol. I need to touch some grass. I really hope it gets good reviews tho, cause I feel that if it's received lukewarm by our community at the start, my enthusiasm just vanishes.
How is the ML's acting? I'm not trying to be a hater here, but he really had 2 expressions in his other dramas, so I'd like to know if there is any improvement, or if it doesn't affect the drama...
But other than that, can't deny that it's the best Netflix lineup for years. Most of my most anticipated dramas this year are Netflix originals. They really gathered the top talent this year. I just hope that it will meet the high expectations.
Honestly, I get why some people have issues with the pace. For me, it was fine until episode 13. But afterwards, not much happened, and it was a bit of a chore to get through. Would feel a little more emotional impact if the drama was 14 eps instead of 16.
I was really into 2nd couple, until HS snapped at YJ for covering for WJ. He just wanted his best friend to be happy, and not meddle in her business, and HS is sulking about him telling her that? Smh. He shouldn't have gone after her to apologize. I'm so mad with her and all WJ's family tbh. If they didn't know DJ, then I guess they can tell her to get away from him. But they now how good of a guy he is, and how lonely their sister/daughter has been, and still selfishly force their beliefs on her. I'm so mad.
I hated the storyline with Dong Jin's ex. Beyond a certain narrative point, I don't know why she was there. I…
Honestly, I think that Dong Jin's character is believable with that kind of mother. Tho I really don't believe that anyone would make him a CEO, he's just too shy... But what bothered me more is Yun Jun. Him covering for Woo Joo is okay - let her do her thing. But him going after Hae Sung after SHE got mad at him for covering for his best friend? Apoligizing even? When all he did was tell her that he just wanted Woo Joo to be happy? Smh
Do they need a purpose? I assume their purpose from a narrative standpoint is to draw focus from the leads dating.…
Yeah but couldn't we at least get a few scenes of them getting closer to each other before they got together? My point is, she had way more scenes with the manager, who is apparently married lol.
I honestly thought that Chingu will get together with her manager, as they have the same sense of humor. Not that I'd be particularly into that pairing, but what the hell is she doing starting all of a sudden a whole ass relationship with that onsultant guy? Like, what purpose does that pairing serve and where did it get from...
Yeah I still enjoy watching it, but something is missing from the ML. He doesnt have any flaws. His biggest flaw…
Yes, they made this big point of having him take one-year sabbatical for his daughter in the first ep... Only for him to go back to work long ass hours as a personal secretary, cleaner, and even a locksmith, not even mentioning that he goes back home, cooks, cleans, and then works / reads some more. Like I got into this drama thinking it will be realistic on the work-life balance front... And not that it's only my wish, the drama did start that was! And then it forgot about the whole ordeal.
