I have mixed feelings about this one... I came looking for a romance, not gonna lie, and the chemistry was off the charts, but for 38 episodes it was barely enough (also the choking was a bit much). I am left feeling very unsatisfied unfortunately... well, I could have expected that, I read the reviews beforehand. I hoped that at least there will be something more to Fangyin's romance, but no. Ehh, I want more ><

Yeah, ever since airing there were a bunch of people screaming that others have no business expecting the kids' plot to come back CAUSE THE MAIN CHARACTERS ARE ADULTS. But just like you said, for 7 eps straight (which is a major part of the show), the kids are main leads. It's not groundless to expect their plot to have a proper ending. Besides, if we went by screentime, Zo In Sung is in no way a ML, he has barely any screentime. So what is the logic? He is a main character only cause he was in promotional materials? These people don't make any sense

Is it just me, or does the FL sound too flat and monotone? It's my first drama with Bai Lu so I don't know if she's the one dubbing it, but it's not the best... Even for a character who is supposed to be more experienced for her age.

I'd rather have a great TV show than good faithful adaptation. If anyone wants to go back to the webtoon, they can anytime. Why make the show the same as the webtoon?

I mean - married before they start to have feelings for each other.

Do we get actual marriage in this? I love contract marriage trope, but I want them to ACTUALLY get married, not like Business Proposal or sth...

Unless she was already in the process of losing weight for this drama when LiC was filmed. I seriously hope so. I want her to go back to healthy weight, I don't like body shaming but this is unsustainable

I think that the user also means that having PMY lose so much weight makes no sense for just a few scenes before she goes back in time, so they could have picked a different actor for before and after going back in time?

The new director is why I'm so excited about this project. During the 2nd season of HP the PDnim was clearly tired of this concept. And now we get something fresh with this drama & from SWH PDnim as well (soon I hope).

I wanted to see Love in Contract but she was already looking too slim in that. I know it's a weird reason for not watching, but I just couldn't get past it...

Also, the killer's motivation was also meh, the same with ML's mother leaving her child and never looking for him. Was it ever explained why in the original timeline the killer stopped killing? Just cause he went to the US? And why did he start killing again, FL's mom at that? It just didn't do it for me.

It's pretty meh. The chemistry is not there, it felt to me like the FL really was a younger cousin of the ML (even though the actors don't have that much of an age difference, the ML seems like he's waay more mature than FL). At times, it felt that the writer had some milestones written out, but no idea how to get to them, so many plot developments feel forced, especially in the last episodes. This is definitely not a show to look for if you don't like plotholes (but, to be frank, this is the case with most time-travelling shows). Overall, way too little quality material for 16 eps.

I'll have grandchildrem before it comes to disney plus in poland I guess...

Love the deep analysis on this site. It comes to 2 points: bringing up the rating, comparing it to the one before (slight drop/sharp drop etc) and then telling if the show can hit double digits. Like everyone gets that a 3% rating is not gonna become double digits if the show is halfway through, lol

She didn't really do anything in the show, it would have been pretty much the same without her

I honestly love those types of dramas, they have great chemistry from the very start, we don't have to wait to be 8 eps in for the leads to start noticing each other... But everybody's taste is different ^^

Then you miss like 98% of the show, what's the point

I agree, the chemistry is not really there, it's a very one-sided relationship and the FL is way closer to 2ML than to ML. She just seems to go with the flow, no real feelings towards ML were there...
