Probably don't need to say this, but only watch it if you're prepared for the leads to have like 5% of happy time together and 95% of angsty time apart. Like I can be in for the angst but not in such a high disproportion... But it's just me, you can have different opinion and expectations from the show. Shame cause I could really feel the chemistry between the leads.
Another thing which irked me, especially in the beginning, is the overusage of the same jokes/situations. Like Moon Immortal has barely anything to do other than going around wanting to tie red strings to everyone. Yan You is a womanizer with the same one joke for the first 25ish eps. And the whole Flower realm crew is really one note as well. Their scenes are very skippable.
9.1-star ratings led me to this drama. But a few too many, not-so-smart moves of the leads don't really justify…
True. Very underwhalming, and for anyone who watched more than 1 movie with similar plot, (time loop) not very groundbreaking. Honestly other than a good production value for a cdrama, I see no reason for this high of a rating. Not very much suspense, and not really going into individual stories of passengers either. Mid
I feel like the MLs' characters were wery one-note. Sure they went through a lot, but in the end, they didn't feel like real human beings when they were so shy and polite all the time. It's hard to explain, but I agree with what some people say - it isn't easy to believe in their love when the show lacks emotions.
This drama had its fair share of stupid plot solutions (like LLH finding the mother bug only to lose it 5 mins later, wasting the styx flower to cure the emperor when LLH could have probably dealt with emperor's poison using his inner power... just to name a few). But if you look aside, it's really well done and engaging. The main leads are fantastic.
The ending could have been better, it would have been nice if they made it clearer. I believe that when the ML appears on the beach at the end, he is not LLH nor LXY, he accepts his past but leaves it behind to start a whole new life - a second chance, as he said everyone willing to redeem himself deserves. He is waiting on the beach for his friends, finally ready to not run away from them anymore. After 10 years of regrets and searching for his senior's body, he is ready to move on. That's why I think his outfit is also fitting - not simple robes like LLH, not extravagant robes like LXY but a cloak that was gifted to him by his best friend who cared about his health. He is finally ready to care about it too.
people don't seem to understand that the main fun of this drama is in flashback story..... they dropped it for…
People understand that the main fun is the plot that gives them the most joy. Not necessarily the flashback story. If it's not fun for sb than it is not fun period
Oh, so Shin Won Ho is really not gonna run the project. Good! I wish he gave us sth completely different! The S2 of HP seemed to be a bit uninspired so it's good for me that we get new(ish) creators of this one.
Kim Doo Shik was not the main character. Jang Joo Won and Lee Mi Hyun were. They are the ones at the origin but…
There were a lot of people, and I mean a lot, when the show was airing, that claimed that he is a main character. Some people were very loud in this comment section that Zo In Sung would never take a role of secondary charater lol. So no wonder that people actually thought that he is the ML.
It took me from December of last year until yesterday to finish this series (I could’ve finished sooner but…
I honestly had a hard time too with The Untamed, it got more interesting to me around the part when WWX was captured. But even afterwards there were some plots that felt draggy or did not make much sense. When I did not understand what was happening I was reading the novel's plot description on wiki 😆 and I skipped some boring scenes and got back to them later. But the drama is def worth it, when it's good it's good
She didn't knew that the training she was doing was for NIS. KH was special case.
That is what I'm wondering - whether the sports university is also a cover-up for NIS training for talents. Or if after she passed the entrance exam, they would just recruit her to NIS right there and then without the uni?
Can anyone tell me, if HS is training for the National Intelligence Agency in her university? Because from the start I thought that the physical education studies were supposed to prepare future agents. However, KH became an agent through a different path (I guess he was preparing for a longer time so he was ready faster). But it doesn't make sense for HS's dad to agree to her becoming an agent. So do they not know, or did they abandon the programme (I thought not?) or what?
