Today's Farewell Video message by Liu Yu Ning lowkey confirms that Nan Feng was NOT Nan Heng
The creators were intentionally ambiguous about it, and I wouldn't take LYN's words for any kind of confirmation. Even if it was NH, he was acting like NF cause XY didn't transmigrate yet. They want to leave room for speculation and that's fine imo. Just accept a theory that you consider the most appropriate. Imo his behaviour in ep 1 is just too suspicious to be NF, so to me it was NH 😅 but I'm still wondering if the final world was the world with male or female scriptwriter lol.
I love that they dedicated themselves to represent 2015 fashion. Korean version totally ignored it, and here we get skinny jeans and puffy sleeves, love it haha
i cant put my finger on why but ML seems so much hotter to me in this drama than prisoner of beauty, i think his…
His acting got way better, but I like the styling here also more than in TPOB. No idea how to express it, but I feel the colours are more vibrant here than in TPOB.
The last 4 episodes truly seal the deal that make me think, this is the best drama of 2025 so far in term of story-wise.It…
Also I think that this drama will live on for a long time, with people going back to rewatch and new audiences discovering it, unlike many others that are just forgotten after a few weeks when people find something new to watch.
I'm still trying to get my head around the symbolism of the "white head same heart". Just random words piled together…
It's a literal translation, word by word, of Chinese sentence for "eternal love". To give you an example, it's as if you translated Polish phrase "dziękuję z góry" as "thank you from the mountain", but it actually means "thank you in advance" 😅 so YM translated it without taking into consideration the meaning.
(But the literal translation also kinda makes sense - it means that eternal love is having the same heart, feelings until you are old and have white hair on your head)
Noo they fell in love in ep 10, first kiss out of their own will in ep 16, then ep 20ish. It's just that they had a fallout due to ML hiding his identity. But they fell for each other very early on. Ep 32 is their wedding. After that no more separation.
One more thing that I love is that we weren't shown the exact moment when YM and NH left the script and entered 21st century. Usually dramas would use the separation of FL and her new-found family for dramatic effect. But here we were fed so many touching sceners already, they didn't need it to raise the stakes. And it is left to our imagination - whether she left the palace after the last scene or many many years later.
LYN's studio posted his final battle BTS in the heat with that ginormous costume and practicing with the fake…
Why couldn't they have made it summer in the script world too ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ poor actors, and all that probably without a proper meal to look good in those clothes...
I feel that she was unhappy and lonely in her life which is why she took to the script world as well as she did.…
You could be right. That would make NH her first true friend. This actually is awesome, cause you should have friends that inspire you to do better, and given how intelligent and hard working he is, this would work well for her. And she gives him the love and trust he always needed, brings humor and care into his life, while questioning the morality of his decisions sometimes. Truly a power couple.
I love how AvenueX commented that ADWAD is the revenge story of the AJTL production team to all the haters. Best…
Ikr, this drama is already so good as a stand-alone story, but it being a comment on the current state of cdrama industry AND a revenge for AJTL is just the whole package. I wish I could speak chinese better to watch some videos about all those layers, as its connection with AJTL is not really talked about on english-speaking channels.
(But the literal translation also kinda makes sense - it means that eternal love is having the same heart, feelings until you are old and have white hair on your head)
