Jing Chao is back! But he looks to be the the bad guy. Either way this drama looks good! Praying that we can get some decent subtitles since its MangoTV. Maybe viki can pick this up?
So I am 14 episodes in and it feels like there is no overarching plot. Like the first episode was some Indiana Jones stuff and then it was court politics and now its just in laws drama. I like the actors and I really love the look of the drama but I've been lacking motivation to continue. Can someone let me know if the plot picks up?
Wait both Chen Xingxu and Evan Lin in one drama? If there is a love triangle, I don't know if I could choose between them. But seriously these two are great actors. I recently watched Crush and though I didn't like the second half, Evan Lin's acting was great. Same with Chen Xingxu in Goodbye my princess.
unpopular opinion but I wish the ML wasn't the father of her child. All the memory loss stuff was annoying and I hate that they were drugged. I'd rather it had been a story where the FL is a single mom or widow and the ML was not the father but still fell in love with her and grew to love her child.
I found the second lead to be a more interesting character. However, I never got second lead syndrome since the main couple is steadfast in their love for each other. So I would recommend giving it a try :)
I was going to drop this at episode 10 because I just could not warm up to the chengyi and him and the princesses…
Completely agree with everything you said. I was in the same situation where I had high expectations for this drama due to all the praise it got, but when I watched it I found it lackluster.
I think I may be the only person who liked Fu Pei lmao I don't think he's a bad person, he's just flawed. Sure, he strung Si Tu Mo around but it was because of his commitment issues due to his strained relationship with his family. I though he was likeable after he got with Shan Shan and I adored their relationship.

My question is how does she know about military strategies if she is a princess? and how believable are her plans? I just don't want it to be that she suddenly knows how to lead men into battle out of nowhere
