Hi there! Long time no chat. :D 2 dramas I finished recently that I enjoyed were Master's Sun and 2 Weeks. Oh, and I Can Hear your voice was OK. Lessee, currently watching Heirs (tho stereotypical, the actors are yummie!) :P and Beautiful Guy, which seems interesting/fun.

It seems the more dramas I've watched, the harder it is to find outstanding ones... I see you just passed 100!!! Yay! Do you find the same prob. with finding good dramas?

So far the thing I'm liking most about this drama are the witty and quick dialogues. I hope they continue that.

Hello! I've missed chatting with yah too! Ah Summer craziness, gives way to school craziness, but at least (hopefully) I'll have more umph to be present at MDL. :P

Thai lakorns took a bit getting used to. The language is definitely more guttural,etc. I've known some Thai as a kid in HI, so that encouraged me to try to understand the different cultural aspects.

Funny, some Japanese dramas I've liked, and many of the plots I've enjoyed when rewritten into other country's dramas. :P I think Japanese dramas definitely have the upper hand in plot creativity. I've felt like the humor and emotions didn't resound with me personally tho. I notice they also have more 1st person narration and I tend to prefer strong facial/body language leads.

I've heard good things about Dog & Wolf, and enjoyed TGL. :)
How's your own projects going? Were you able to get a lot done this Summer?

I didn't find the sex scenes realistic or necessary to this movie, but if you skip those scenes and watch the storyline, it shows a pretty accurate picture incl. causes, pattern, results and the debilitating affects on self/others mental illness can be.

Dunno if you've seen it, but I just watched 'Holyland' Japanese version and enjoyed it myself. If you like watching different fighting and styles, and a bullied kid standing up for himself, with no other serious plot this could be interesting.

Hello! Nice meeting you - great list you have of favorites (dramas/actors) too. :) Just a little whisper before someone else shouts at you, you might want to consider replacing the abbreviation for Japanese with either Jdramas or Japan or something other than jap because there are some who still consider it a derogatory term. :P I've accidentally done it myself not thinking and been scolded pretty roughly. <:oO

Have you been around mdl long? Do you like melodramas or prefer lighter romcom ones? Personally, I like either so long as they don't end tragically. :P Thanks for the friend invite and I'll be sure to check out your list of favorites and say Hi! when I come across you here! :) Always great meeting a fellow drama watcher (esp. one who likes to branch out to other Asian dramas like I do!)

I've been in a drama slump too. :oO I even tried some Thai lakorns, then decided to just do less drama - might be because nothing really catches my eye or I'm tired with other things or..... HAVE I SEEN ALL THE GOOD ONES in the genres I like?!?! Gasp!

Maybe it's just been enough drama around home lately too with both boys home full time and all their "I'm bored" "He did THIS, NO MEEEE first..." Who needs to watch more when, right? :P Can't say it's been all that great a Summer for me either - more stress than anything. *Pulls hair out by the handfuls*

Hope your Summer goes better than it has been so far, so sorry to hear it hasn't been very good. :(

I get the impression based on the last txt msg. she was going to send Terry that she became aware of her own feelings, but didn't know how to tell him. "When I return in a year, can I be your bride again?" seems pretty clear to me imo. :P

Da Hua's heart is with Terry - If you see the last txt msg. she was going to send/afraid to send to him, it asked him if she returned in a year she could be his bride again.
