Supposedly in her birthday live, she said she should be joining a drama soon but it's not finalized yet. She has another drama yet to air called "Zong Ran" that has already gotten a license. I heard that the modern drama with ZXC has been postponed until next year, while it seems the historical drama with Ding Yuxi is another FL.

I think this makes sense as the drama has not received a license to distribute yet. Also, there does not seem to be any joint promotional activities between LJ and CZY thus far.

They clearly enjoy collaborating a lot. They seem to be good friends and had some sweet moments off camera as well - hand holding on the same bottle warmer, LJ helping CZY keep his jacket on, and him grabbing her hand before getting into position for the hospital scene 🥰🥰

For some reason during practice HYT refers to “my wife will enter the door” and LJ asks “Who is your wife?” lol
they really should’ve just replaced XX with LJ acting like herself and we would’ve had a much more interesting main cp. through some of their interviews and their appearance last year on Hi6, it’s clear HYT cannot handle LJ 🤣

I agree, I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy LJ/HYT pairing as much as I did. Hopefully they will get a better script next collaboration. Oddly enough, during filming I think they did film a wedding scene for the leads but I guess ultimately decided not to use it 🤷🏻♀️

I agree with you! Episodes 37 and 38 were the least I’ve fastforwarded in a while. I cried when the guys all showed up for Xu Yan with his wife’s passing - how they each dressed him for her funeral was heartwrenching and poignant.
The second burst of tears came with the scene between Xiaoxiao and her grandma - how they spoke about as long as Xiao Xiao remembers all her memories of her grandma it will be enough even if grandma forgets her as her disease progresses 😭😭😭
I even cried at Lu Zheng and Shengyun’s scenes and laughed at the end.
Clearly this drama has a lot of issues, but the guys’ relationship is the best and love Xiao Xiao and her grandma as well.

100%! Why call an ex who has told you repeatedly that he wants you to stay out of his life? Why would her son go to YH’s place? He’s literally never been there 🤦🏻♀️
So today's episodes answered a few of the big questions we have had. I will spoiler tag as a reply to this.
Agree with you! Didn’t he tell his ex to stop contacting him but then he picks up her call right away? XX’s point is ever since his ex came back he’s been distant and acting like he’s living in a different world time and time again, and she’s not strong enough to handle it. She thought she could eventually go back to normal but seeing him throw her flowers in the trash and rush off to help his ex is the straw that broke the camel’s back.
As someone else mentioned, he couldn’t handle her past blind date who she no longer has contact with, but he wants her to just be ok with an ex-fiancé repeatedly showing up and affecting the relationship is insane.
