Haven’t done this for a while now, so I might as well summarize the remaining chapters since Boun is NOT blonde…
CHAPTER 8: A Special Person WIN’s POV: - Win keeps falling for Team as each day passes. He now eats Lay’s too even without Team around and he keeps listening to the songs Team likes. - Dean warns Win that he is a kind person. If he doesn’t want to be serious with Team, Win should make things clear with him. - On a random Saturday, the club members went to buy materials for the upcoming open university event. Of course, Win and Team are together. - While shopping, Win is talking to his siblings on his phone and they mentioned that he is too kind to the point where girls misunderstand his actions as romantic. Maybe if Win met his special person, he will spoil him too much. - At the same exact moment, Team took a bunch of Lay’s to their cart and Win let him, even though Win finds them unhealthy. All these will be paid for by Win later, therefore, spoiling him. - Win thought about everything they said and concluded that if Team asks about their relationship, Win will immediately answer that Team is a special person for him.
TEAM’s POV: - Team has been spending a lot of time in Pharm’s house to get tutored. Unfortunately, Team still cannot understand no matter how much Pharm explains. - Pharm suggests that Team should ask help from Win; an idea which Team immediately dismisses since he doesn’t want to get teased by Win. - Team changes the topic and asks Pharm how can he be sure if something is romantic love, to which Pharm answers, if there is the feeling of desire to possess. - After finishing the tutor session, Team drops by to the convenient store before going home to buy... more Lay’s. - And guess who is in the convenient store to see his basket full of junk food: the one and only Win Phawin. - Win asks why he’s still awake and Team answers that he is still studying for a quiz. By the way, Win took Team’s basket, carried it, and paid for everything ;) - On the way to their apartment, Win learned how bad Team’s scores were. Win said that if he doesn’t maintain his grades, Team will lose his athlete’s scholarship. - Win then offered to tutor Team. - When asked about his tutoring fee, Win kissed Team’s forehead and said that he’ll charge him that much for each session. NOTE: This scene takes place on episode 6 of Until We Meet Again. - Frustrated and with a pounding heart, Team did not want to misunderstand Win anymore and asked Win if he charges everyone he tutors like that. - Win answered that he actually does not charge other people. It’s only Team who he asks to pay. - When asked why, Win replied: “Because you are someone special for me.”
Haven’t done this for a while now, so I might as well summarize the remaining chapters since Boun is NOT blonde anymore. Meaning, they won’t start filming anytime soon.
PS: Not the best summary with the perfect grammar and all. I mainly do this for myself. Kinda like a mini refresher and a guide when the drama starts airing. But yes, sharing this too for those who are lazy to read the novel!
Guyss tell me pls do you think its worth it to purchase the fast track 😭😭
I bought the fast track and it has English episodes!
The 30 minute episode took me around 40 minutes to finish because I kept replaying everything. I was either squealing from the cuteness of the main couple or guffawing from their banter. So yes, worth it!
Episode 22 did not only boost my serotonin, it’s borderline overdosing. I was either squealing or guffawing throughout the entire episode. Not to mention, I kept replaying everything!
The fast track episodes are SOOOO worth it! And yes, they have English subtitles.
A tiny little update: During an online interview last week, Prem told that he accidentally spilled about his own solo song for the drama during his fan talk. He was scolded by P’New afterwards. The interviewer then asked Boun for an update and he just said that they haven’t started shooting yet but the songs are finished. Prem replied that he has already listened to Boun’s song when he recorded his own. Therefore, also spoiling that Boun has his own song in the soundtrack.
P’New specifically told them not to tell fans yet about their solo songs for the drama lmaooooo
Oh, this one really hits the spot. I’ve mentioned before that Yu Tu is carrying the weight of the world and this week’s episodes just proved it further. There are a lot of romance dramas between a celebrity and a non-celebrity but You Are My Glory is one of the few that highlights the difference in their world. Most conflict usually stems from external factors such as pressure from the agency or rejection from the fans, but in here, it purely comes from Yu Tu himself. It hurts to see him wallow in doubts and insecurities for not being able to financially support his parents and spend some time with them at the age of 30 - what can he give to a top star like Qiao Jing Jing?
Yu Tu was a top student who could have had it easier in finance, yet he chose to pursue his dream in aerospace engineering. Later on, this posed the internal conflict of dream vs practicality that is so rampant in Asian society today. If he were to give up being an aerospace engineer, this would disappoint not just his friends but also himself, and he would have to start all over again. If he were to give up the chance to work in finance, some people would think he is wasting the opportunity to live a more comfortable life. No matter what he chooses in the end, disappointing someone is inevitable.
Fast forward to episode 17, I’m so glad Yu Tu visited his parents to take a breather. I literally teared up during his conversation with his mother. There’s no need to overthink, he should always think for himself, and most importantly, his parents are proud of him. Yu Tu really needed to hear those words out. He has already made a choice; all he needs now is to find the confidence to pursue Jing Jing.
You just know someone is being shitty when Shi Woon himself gets angry.
Anyways, I’ve had my reservations with Shin Woo at the beginning. He was barely communicating, so his actions were just rude. But the last two episodes, my gosh. Noh Shin Woo deserves all the love. He said what needed to be said, not just to Da On but to So Hee as well.
I swear, the dinner reunions Yu Tu go to are always uncomfortable, let it be with the people from Finance or the Aerospace Engineers. His scenes whenever he feels like he’s disappointing someone just hurts.
Yu Tu is such a nice change from the usual perfect male leads of Gu Man (Boss & Me, My Sunshine, Love O2O).
Hmmm, the trailer was thrilling, fast-paced, and action-packed but the drama has been none of those so far. I did expect it since the drama has 42 episodes in total. Lots of time to build the tension up and deliver.
But five episodes in and I am really enjoying the overall mood of the drama. The story is slow, serious, and somber - which is fine considering how the leads are, in male lead’s actual words, in the stagnant stage. They are in a completely new environment with an unhealthy working atmosphere and their research is stuck in a limbo. Scientific research can take months or even years, so I find the pacing of the story appropriate and understandable. He really has nothing to steal or betray at the moment.
As for the characters, I love Qiu Jianing. She has a low EQ but has very strong morals. It’s been a while since I’ve watched a female lead who is all alone and is no pushover. Zhou Xiaoshan, on the other hand, has been living on the edge for all his life, one mission after another. His early adolescence is spent training in a harsh environment, so he is clearly intrigued by her emotional detachment and high moral standards. What they have is not yet romance, but it sure is intense and fascinating.
As for the second couple, 100% skippable. I knew it the moment they, a doctor and an intern, loudly argued while on duty. The drama tried to lighten the atmosphere with the music, but it only made them look childish and unprofessional.
Luo Yizhou, Tang Jiuzhou, Lian Huaiwei, Liu Guanyou, Deng Xiaoci, Sun Yinghao, Liu Jun, Duan Xingxing, and Sun Yihang officially introduce themselves as IXFORM at the Super Music Festival!
I haven't even watched this yet, but thanks to your comment I'm going to give it a try. People like you who accuse…
You say you don’t care about the director’s alleged crimes but you still noted how I accused him of names without posting any backing link, so I simply stated that he really went to jail for that :)
Again, you do you. We already formulated our own opinions, so I don’t want to argue. I agree with you about the mix of the good and the bad in his works, though.

Hello, we both cannot change each other’s perspective so I’m not even gonna argue with your comment.
As for putting a link to back up my comment, he admitted that (1) he had been in a 7-year relationship with a minor, and that (2) he went to jail in 2013 for “condoning a minor” (sheltering an outcast) and “seduction consent” (having a malicious relationship with a minor). He answered them via curiouscat. They were already deleted so it’s up to you if you would believe the screenshots found in Twitter. https://twitter.com/trixterttv/status/1265250099698917376?s=21 or https://twitter.com/punongbayan_/status/1265764100908306432?s=21 or just simply search Darryl Yap + keywords you’re interested in.
Anyways, hope you enjoy his works because I personally wasn’t a fan of those I’ve watched :)
