To those asking about the delays, if you did not know: Thailand had controlled their coronavirus situation last year. However, the country experienced a surge last April 2021, the same month where Between Us was supposed to start production (ex. casting auditions were held during the first week). Boun even had to undergo a two week quarantine in April because he attended an event where a staff tested positive. Stricter restrictions were implemented then and Studio Wabi Sabi was not able to finish filming Seven Project, the drama they wish to finish before starting Between Us.
Fast forward to July, their situation is NOT getting any better. New rules for television/filming crew starting from 12th-25th July are:
- No shooting in public. - Shooting in studios/private grounds must NOT exceed 5 persons. - You can submit a request in case of necessity, but the number must NOT exceed 20 persons. - Source: https://twitter.com/lazysubber/status/1415019498336366597?s=21
As you can see, the new protocol basically warrants no filming at all. Thankfully, P’New (the director) assured everyone that this drama is still happening and tweeted last July 12:
"It will be a while before we can start shooting #BetweenUsTheSeries. I want to wait till everything is ready so we can fully work on it because I don't want to feel anxious every day about having to disrupt the shooting. P.S. shit government."
So please, let us all be patient and hope for the best.

No problem! The novel's unfinished anyway so we're all on the same boat on not knowing what's going to happen next xD I’ve read somewhere last year that the author doesn't want to spoil the story before the drama airs so she kind of stopped updating. She released chapter 13 earlier this year, though.
He has worked twice with Park Boyoung (Oh My Ghostess, Abyss) and Seo Inguk (High School King of Savvy, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes). Plus, Seo Inguk had a cameo in Oh My Ghostess and Abyss.
Summarized chapters 6 and 7 for those who are lazy to read the book!ps chapter 6 is one of my FAVORITE chapters…
CHAPTER 6: Warm Embrace - RECAP: with Win beside him, Team slept peacefully for the first time in so long. - When Team woke up, he just borrowed clothes from Win and started exercising in the living room. - Win held Team’s legs while Team was doing sit ups and they had this intense eye contact no one dared to break whenever their noses touched. - THEN THEY KISSED and their make out session was interrupted by the noise in the television. - Team later skipped classes again. - Win knocked on his room and invited him to eat outside and watch the movies—and it was totally a date with the flirty gazes and all during the meal. - They went to watch a horror movie (as requested by Team) and... Win was basically not a fan of the genre. - Instead of teasing his hia, Team held Win’s hand throughout the whole movie and unknowingly to him, he was only watching Win and not the movie. - Later in the middle of the night, Team woke up after having nightmares again since the upcoming swimming competition was bothering him. - He decided to get his pillow and blanket.... and knocked on Win’s apartment. - The sleepy Win opened the door after seeing Team in the peephole, asked no questions and proceeded to embrace the already sleeping Team on his bed. - The chapter ends with: “No matter what, if his bed and his hug can make Team sleep well, he (Win) is ready to wake up in the middle of the night and welcome him every night.”
CHAPTER 7: Complicated - Win made breakfast and woke Team up. - It was then explained in this chapter that Team sleeping in Win’s apartment has since become common; Win doesn’t lock his door anymore, waits for Team to knock with his pillow and blanket, and lets Team have all the space on his own bed. Win tried to give Team a spare key once but Team declined, so Win always stay up late to wait for him. Team has his own clothes now in Win’s closet as well. - Win didn’t have classes, only a meeting, on that day so he drove for Team (who would later have the representative selection for the swimming competition) to the university using Team’s car. - During the swimming club meeting of Win, Dean, and Prug, the three had a serious conversation about their love lives. - Win confessed that something has already happened between him and Team and that he seriously likes Team, not just because they had sex. - Later that day, Team ranked 1st and was selected to be a representative for the upcoming swimming competition. - The two had dinner together in Win’s apartment. - Team found a guitar which belonged to Win’s older brother, Wan. - Win never learned to play the guitar, but Team knew how so he played played a song. - Since Team was already free from the stress of the competition, he went back to his apartment. - Win, alone in his apartment, couldn’t stop thinking about Team playing the guitar. It was now him who couldn’t sleep at night.
