If you are not familiar with Rino, her crew participated in America’s Best Dance Crew and ended up at the 2nd place years ago. She’s most famous for being the choreographer of Girls’ Generation’s OH!, Tell Me Your Wish (Genie), I Got a Boy, as well as SHINee’s Replay and Lucifer. She has also worked alongside Santa (rank 2, Chuang 2021) and Rikimaru (rank 3, Chuang 2021) for SHINee.
This week's episode is not bad. I like how Mu Ren took his time to figure out his feelings. I like how Li Cheng knew when to back out or not. Yes to a slow and steady romantic AND character development!
a restraining order against the youtuber seems like a sexc idea
but yeah, the first episode is not that bad. just...... typical. as what one would expect from a Japanese romcom. and ok, totally carried by Ishihara Satomi and Ayano Gou. and that surprise twist at the end.
i do agree with the comments saying it has the Little Mermaid vibes. the female lead thankfully only has the pureness and innocence of Ariel, not the indifferent, childish and spoiled princess attitude. i was also expecting the male lead to be a rich, snarky, arrogant asshole but he's quite harmless. he obviously has his own goals, so he literally won't mind someone unless he has some business going on.
Bruh this was embarrassingly bad that I can't bring myself to rate it - nor let anyone know I watched this. Which…
omg hahahhaaha, thank you for writing this because I had a good laugh.
I, too, have set my standards so low when it comes to shoujo/josei romance, yet I already found this so bad. As a woman myself, the story is just too degrading. I'm literally just watching but I feel so offended and humiliated.
“Menstruation is not something embarrassing that needs to be kept secretly. I hope everyone comes to think of it that way.”
“Can you please refrain from labeling women as lonely and whatnot just because they enjoy doing something all by themselves?”
Only two episodes in and this drama has already managed to show fully embracing one's self, bring gender nonconformity up, and address some microaggressions that women face in their lives. Lots of sweetness and cuteness as well!
