This is so unimportant but it bothered me that they kept saying Sang Zhi had a bad allergic reaction to milk but her face was completely clear. Couldn’t they have added some red dots on her face at the very least? 😭
Don't know if i'm sensing it wrongly but from the BTS, unlike his onscreen interaction with ZLS, CZY looked aloof…
He mentioned at the press conference that some of their shoots are very long so it's impossible to just be smiling the entire time (Zhao Lusi naturally is always laughing and smiling so that's why it makes Chen Zheyuan's resting face look not as friendly). Don't forget that they are humans too so not smiling =/= unfriendly.
Jia Xu being so shameless is nothing new. When Sang Zhi was in high school, Jia Xu would tease Sang Zhi so often and call himself handsome. Sang Yan would get so tired of Jia Xu constantly calling himself handsome and stuff. He was always a tease but now that he actually likes Sang Zhi, he is showing that side of himself again but in a courting her type of way instead of an older brother teasing a shy girl way.
Kim Heesun has a no kissing policy because her husband gets too jealous 🙃 What a shame
Actually there's a kiss scene (or multiple idk) in Faith, I watched it years ago! It was really good (at least I think it was because I still remember the plot today). It's actually either the last or one of the last dramas she was in where she had kiss scenes. It made her husband so mad though lol
can someone be brutally honest with me here. Is this an overhyped/adolescent romance show with too many fillers?
As someone who watched hundreds of Cdramas, this is one that has the least amount of fillers. No second lead or second couple taking over all of the screentime.
Perfect example of a drama that had crazy potential, especially with the ML & FL's chemistry and natural acting. Ruined by horrible scriptwriting and directing. Seriously, I had to finish the drama because the chemistry was insane but I think we can all agree that some of the plot just makes 0 sense, definitely have to turn off my brain for some of it and of course as everyone else has mentioned, the Chinese title is "Two people's little forest" but it's more like "Four people's little forest" because the secondary couple has more screentime than the main couple in 50% of all episodes. It really doesn't help that the secondary couple's plotline is just super creepy. This drama actually pisses me off so much because of how well it could've been done, could've been directed and written by a Wattpad writer and still turn out better.
C-Dramas really did serve this year. Last year felt like there was nothing but this year we started off with Reset, then WRTW, LTTG, LBDAF, and then Lighter and Princess.... wow 2023 please treat us C-Drama fanatics well!
now that they showed the proposal scene, i'd like to say i'm one of the few that DO NOT think a proposal is "out-of-character" for lixun. proposals and weddings are traditionally very special moments. they aren't reserved for only specific types of personalities so it doesn't make sense to say a proposal is out of character when a proposal is one very special moment.
i'd also say that even if they left the proposal out forever, it would also not be strange. it's really none of my business what a couple wants to do to announce and officiate their love for one another. either way i'm happy with the results but the proposal scene just gave us an extra dose of sweetness. :^)
it's 14:38 long only ):
