Even Viki subs aren’t the best, the subs are similar in a lot of areas with the Youku subs for some reason when I literally know that’s not the best way to translate what they said. Viki subs as a team right so maybe every line is translated by different people so it’s hard to assess the quality overall

Best to not mention here because they are probably lurking and also don’t want to bring that mess to our otherwise peaceful comment section but it’s pretty obvious if you look at the currently airing cdramas and which one is modern + popular + lower rating than L&P

Stealing the 10,000th comment (^: Congratulations L&P for 10k comments on MDL! This is huge for a drama that didn't have a stacked cast where even Youku had no expectations of this drama doing that well. Really proud of the cast - especially our leads. They are so young with so much potential!

hearing about L&P's fanmeet is marketed as Li Xun and Zhu Yun's 3rd wedding anniversary, I REALLY thought they got married in 2020 or even 2021 LOL so they got married and fought LP within the same year that Li Xun got out of jail??? Dang they developed two games so fast too

right I literally NEVER saw a single comment that has talked negatively about that drama in this comment section (and I'm here everyday). we're all just tryna get over L&P

don't worry, I know lmfaoo, I was also there to read comments and saw L&P - not the first time, it happens at least once a week and there's like a bunch of likes too so I was annoyed but not that serious. Also responded literally out of boredom cause L&P ended and I can't get over it

And "irdgaf" if this is your first time here in weeks. I responded in general and not to directly you that I am tired of people speaking on L&P here when I'm just trying to read the discussion of SAHPH.

Like y'all can talk about how this drama is great for demonstrating the cruelness of society on women and deserves a higher Douban score without essentially talking about how L&P is not as great and apparently has a toxic plot carried by a cast with great visuals. Clearly you didn't even watch L&P because never once was there a "I can fix you" mentality.

It's not that serious on my end either, simply tired of scrolling through a comment section that mentions L&P at least once a week when it has nothing to do with SAHPH's success.

I saw the first trailer on YouTube and was like “ew he has blonde hair, another school romcom” and then I watched a variety show called “Have Fun” with Chen Feiyu, loved it, and then realized he is the dude in that trailer I watched weeks ago, then the final teaser came out and I watched it because I loved Chen Feiyu in Have Fun and omg the final trailer was nothing like the first trailer - then the drama released then as if it was waiting for me (it was not lol) and bam I fell into the L&P hole

I'm so tired of people speaking on L&P on this page. 🙄

New photos/videos/BTS for Chen Feiyu's upcoming movie "Yesterday Once More" keeps popping up and seeing him act so lovingly with someone that's not Zhu Yun is so foreign right now. I'm excited for the film because it gives me Li Xun in the snow vibes (which was my favorite Li Xun look) but hopefully I'll be able to focus and get myself immersed!

He hit him in front of everyone because he needed to ruin FZJ's moment of glory. He also did it in front of everyone because he needed everyone to witness it - he needed to go to prison because he wanted to punish not only FZJ but also himself for breaking his promise to his dad - protect his mom and sister (failed both...). That's why he went to jail without a single attempt in lowering his sentence (even said he had nothing to say in front of the judge) and rejected Zhu Yun's attempt of getting him in contact with lawyers.

Like you all mentioned, Li Xun is very smart and calculated - starting with fixing the chair in the rooftop (preparing to be away for a long time) and giving Gao the company shares. He meant to do all of that. He meant to go to jail and he didn't want it any other way.

I was curious about how well Chen Feiyu would do because he was sent to boarding school and his parents are super busy but he did so well looking after the twins.

Reborn Rich - I love Song Joongki and will eat it up but literally just not in the mood, I love anything with a strong plot which Reborn Rich will definitely serve. Honestly think I just need some time 😂

I’ve tried another Kdrama that I’m sure I will love but I literally can’t get in the mood, I’m only in the mood for L&P 😭😭

Not it being Monday with no new episodes to look forward to 😔

I’ve been trying out other Cdramas and it has made me appreciate so much more that L&P didn’t have 10388483 filler episodes with 90% screen time for secondary characters. 😭 I don’t know how I can move on when other Cdramas are just not giving right now

Others already talked about why Li Xun isn't toxic - just narcissistic, but I'm more concerned that you forget someone is toxic if they are handsome 😬

Bai Lu and Ren Jialun were paired twice too, I feel like Bai Lu is an outlier cause she gets paired with the same actors twice often it seems?
