I LOVE how Li Xun reacted to Gao Jianhong's health issue. In the novel, Li Xun was cold and didn't care about Gao Jianhong's health but in the drama, it was clearly ripping Li Xun apart not knowing if he should proceed or if it was worthwhile because deep inside, he still cherished the memories he had with Gao Jianhong.

Also, Gao Jianhong had cancer which is what Li Xun hopes to fight using the technology he will build. His mom also had cancer and so cancer is a very sensitive topic for Li Xun. I doubt Li Xun would just sit there without a care - even if that person is his worst enemy. Dramaland Li Xun will forever beat novel Li Xun!

how will 2023 beat 2022? we got who rules the world, love like the galaxy, love between devil and fairy (I don't like xianxia so it wasn't for me but I can't deny its impact!), reset (which people keep leaving out smh), and now lighter and princess omg. please drama gods give us a blessed 2023 too

I'm positive that Li Xun did not forget, it'll be extremely out of character to not do anything, even with his sister he secretly took care of her and remembered the smallest details. They just don't show us everything that happens in drama world. They probably didn't include it because all of us know Li Xun very well now and it goes without saying that he would take care of everything :^)

We've hit 8000 comments! That's so many! I remember watching The Untamed and hitting 10k comments then was absolutely insane. For us to hit 8000 comments is INSANE for a drama that didn't have that much initial anticipation (since Chen Feiyu and Zhang Jingyi are relatively new to the scene and don't have an insane following) and wasn't filmed years ago with people waiting for a release date.

So proud! This page is surely one that I'll revisit every couple of months (and even years) when rewatching.

Finished! Feels wrong that there's nothing to anticipate next Monday ): I had such a great time here and will keep my eye out for future projects by Chen Feiyu and Zhang Jingyi! They are both so young and have only just started - lots more ahead for them!

A drama can be 10/10 without having a unique storyline. It's all about the execution of the story which comes from the actors/actresses, the camerawork, the audio (background, ost, dubbing), director, script, and much more.

There's only so many unique works out there. Unique also doesn't mean good.

Jackson looking like the younger brother in Have Fun. Arthur calls everyone in the show “____ ge” for older brother but I have never heard him call Jackson “ge”, it’s always just “Jackson” or “Jiaer” 😂😂😂

I forgot to mention this scene cause the hot spring and shirt scenes took over, but when Li Xun caught Zhu Yun looking at him sleeping, he hurt his waist getting up too quickly. The scene turned from sweet to hilarious. From him telling Zhu Yun not to touch him and Zhu Yun saying "Ok! No touch!" To the coworkers walking into that mess... god what a golden scene

Amazing kiss scenes, though there aren't that many because of the storyline. But when they DO kiss or hug, literally nothing in the world matters because they kiss like there's no tomorrow. They hug like they are glued together. It seems there will be many more kisses/hugs in the remaining episodes though!

There are definitely cruel moments but I don't think they are misunderstandings. Like they know why they are being cruel but it still hurts.

I also didn't expect Gao to treat Li Xun and Zhu Yun like that when I watched ep 2-19 but I guess Gao is just like that.. he is way too self-absorbed /:

Nah I'm sure they did. The drama hinted at it. She was just shy cause she didn't have pants on. I'm sure if I was wearing my ex's shirt with no pants on around him, I'd feel a little shy too, especially if it's been three years

I don't think these two episodes are a waste. I absolutely LOVED them, had to keep pausing every few minutes cause I keep screaming. Truly trying to take in every single episode we have left
