Yeah, I understand that, I wasn't directing that comment specifically to you (hence why I didn't directly respond to your comment), it has been mentioned several times in the comments that's all haha

Me too! I absolutely LOVE Esther Yu and Dylan Wang so I’ve tried that drama several times and it wasn’t for me. I don’t think this and L&P should even be mentioned together because they are so different? Feels random to mention LBFD here lol
Actually I think after ep 22 I became uninterested in this drama. I don't like how the FL is trying to give up…
Zhu Yun isn’t giving up her life for a boy. She is feeling a huge mix of emotions. First, she feels like she was the catalyst to the death of his sister. Second, she hates FZJ already because of her best friend’s death and now there’s another person that died because of FZJ and yet she sees that FZJ will never get punished. Then she also realized that Li Xun doesn’t plan on trying to lower his sentence. Then she gets jailed in her own room representing her inability to ever gain freedom from her parents. To her, Li Xun represented freedom. Her life was always written out for her by her parents but now, the one who represented freedom the most to her was ironically locked up in a jail cell. And finally, she feels betrayal because the person who she loves created this huge plan without letting her know.
Yeahh, tbh I really like discussing about dramas. But, I don't have friends who also watch the same drama as me.
All my friends only watch Kdramas unfortunately ): whenever they try Cdramas they get tired of all the filler episodes (which is true for many Cdramas to be fair)
I wanna punch LX so badly, he doesn't want her to get close to him and also don't want her to get close to other…
Agreed. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much the drama will change from the novel. Compared to the novel, Li Xun is already a saint in the drama (which tells you a whole lot about what type of guy he is in the novel...). Really praying to see Li Xun fight for Zhu Yun, after all, Li Xun's misfortunes aren't Zhu Yun's fault so she shouldn't have to suffer years of emotional damage for it.
I'll fight anyone who blames Zhu Yun for what happened to his sister, idc if Li Xun joined the comp for Zhu Yun, ain't nobody tell him to go on stage and publicly embarrass FZJ. But it's also not Li Xun's fault what happened to his sister. Only the villains can be blamed here. They were the ones who tricked his sister.
I'm kinda confused about the outburst scene in eps 27. When LX got jealous and started to tease her then ZY ask…
He was being an asshole, also just blatantly lying about the past. It definitely shouldn't be cute that he was saying that she was essentially stalking him and that he thought she had an annoying one-sided crush on him.
He was mocking her in front of everyone to see, his coworkers were right to tell him off.
oh my god, I yelped out loud from the cringe of Li Xun's jealous outburst. he was being SO obviously jealous that the words he was saying was such nonsense I was embarrassed listening to him. I don't know how to recover from the cringe of it all - with their coworkers watching it unfold in the office
Only one episode left for the week :( I'm more excited for next Monday than for Thanksgiving holidays... I love my family and celebrating Thanksgiving but unfortunately, this drama has me by the throat
If Zhu Yun was stuck up on the apology part then she would never have seen his face again.... There relationship…
I'm not saying Li Xun didn't suffer but Zhu Yun didn't cause Li Xun's suffering while Li Xun DID cause Zhu Yun's suffering; therefore, the apology was warranted.

It's not about whether or not she is stuck on the apology. It's just decent to hear an apology. Zhu Yun suffered so much in the three years, she deserves that apology regardless. It's also good for Li Xun to get into a good habit of apologizing to those who he harmed.
SOOOO happy to see Li Xun apologize to Zhu Yun in the trailer. I literally don't care what he is apologizing for, the fact that he is gaining the courage to apologize at all is a whole step up.
Also props to Mr. Dancer friend for talking some sense into Li Xun and being a great support!
Hello everyone! I have a question, because I watched only the first ep - is the rest episodes mostly retrospection…
if you are interested in pure fluff, you can watch only ep 2 and end it at 19. it'll be exactly like a full drama and you can completely ignore the present day stuff!
