another point, ML when he wears a suit he looks very young, and when he wears rock or sports clothes he looks more mature to me lol.. And I find that the rock look or historical look in action suits him extremely well and cool. I can see him in a bad boy movie at full speed
I think she has felt a strong attraction for him for quite some time now, and her heart beats for him. However, it's her conscience that refuses to accept it, just like the first time. She doesn’t listen to her heart but to her reason.
So far, what I love about the ML is his forwardness—he opens his heart and is generous. Plus, he has been very mature from the beginning in many aspects. On the other hand, I’d say the FL is more childish in relationships compared to the male lead. :))
And I absolutely love both actors—and the SFL too!
Weak Hero 1 releasing globally on Netflix next month will surely get him more fans, too.
In *Twinkling Watermelon*, he is fantastic—so charismatic and natural. Here, there are little nods to his character, just like for Mounga Young as well. Both of them are perfect and turn what could have been an ordinary cliche series into a super hit! (Like Buisness Proposal )
I have nothing to say about her talent. Maybe there are people more skilled than me in this matter, to give a…
I agree that in the industry, there is a strong emphasis on being extremely thin, just like in the fashion world. Not only is this dangerous for celebrities, but it also sets unrealistic beauty standards for others. Anorexia is one of the most common, most dangerous, and most hidden yet controversial illnesses of our time. Added to this is plastic surgery, where by the age of 30, there are already standards and expectations imposed by the industry, sponsors, and agencies. I believe that celebrities suffer both mentally and physically because of this.
However, when writing something behind a screen, we should always ask ourselves if it were directed at us, would it hurt to read it? We should avoid making harsh and unfair criticisms.
Both 1st and 2nd eps are very enjoyable to watch. The actors' performances are extremely dynamic and full of charm. Moon Ga Young has an extraordinary natural charm, and the male lead is also very interesting !—their duo works really well. The second couple also seems good. The first episode was really strong.
You can clearly see that in the female lead's imagination during the game, she envisions the male lead as he is now. That’s why changing the actor makes sense—it highlights the idea that he will become the man of her "dreams" a few years later.
The male lead is a "child at heart" and wants to prove that he is not. I think that's his complex (the actor was very well chosen for this role—excellent casting), and the music is great too. I hope the series will keep the same energy. There is a good mix of Business Proposal, True Beauty, and What's Wrong with Secretary Kim.
I don't prefer FLs to always be bold and confident, but she rubs me the wrong way. Like she just acts obsessed…
I think there is a lot of innocence and youthful romantic ideology in the two characters. The boy, too, is a "child". In his eyes you can see that he is still a "child," just like in all wars, where this young generation sacrifices its life... (I could say that in the group of young people, all the characters were innocent and "children/youth") The war will change and freeze this innocence. It seems like the director wants to show this.
I like all the actors, but the FL's acting feels off. Why is she always shy and unstable around Zan? I prefer…
I find her character interesting in the way it's written. However, she is the weakest in the cast in terms of acting. It might also be that the director has a rather naive vision of how she should interpret her character. I feel like she lacks charisma. That said, it's still enjoyable, and she has good chemistry with the male lead. In the last two episodes especially, CZY is clearly above in terms of acting
novel ends with happy ending, but epilogue is differend. the whole novel with an epilogue is on wattpad. I don't…
I have read it... It's sad, it's reality. I like the open ending without the epilogue, as it leaves room for hope—hope for reconciliation or not, even though the scars never truly fade. It gives hope to those who have survived the war. And I think the series will end this way, without the epilogue.
Otherwise, it only paints a harsh reality, without offering hope. Saying no to war is necessary, but can humanity ever truly stop it? History repeats itself, conflicts rise and fall, and peace remains fragile. Yet, if we abandon hope, what is left? Perhaps the answer in this serie is not in ending war entirely, but in ensuring that those who survive have a reason to believe in a better future.
About ending - Novel SPOILIER . . I’m confused. I read the novel on Wattpad, and to be honest, I only read the ending so far. I plan to go back and start from the beginning. If it’s an adaptation (since there are several books with the same title), isn’t it a hopeful ending with an open conclusion and not a tragic one? Or did I misunderstand?
