you guys think midi dramas (those mid rate but full lenght 24 eps dramas) are coming back? they scrapped them after mini/vertical dramas took off but i've been noticing the minute per ep on some dramas inch up and true, actors like these who can't land main roles in major productions but are too big time for mini dramas do need to land somewhere.

some one below said the ml and fl deserve more screen time and i agree. for once deng kai has chemistry with his fl, but the drama isn't romance centered 🙃luckily its equally fun watching her scheme everyone's murders so

if the mini drama presidents have any sense they'll make this fl actress the next mini drama IT girl, bc this is the third consecutive drama of hers i've seen where she hasn't failed to elicit chemistry from her ml. bad or good writing doesn't matter, her and that man are gonna have some damn nice chemistry

no i liked cousin addict. she burned short but bright! and the actress' performance was also good

i feel the same way. 29 episodes of buildup with little to nothing happening, then only 8 episodes of the story actually moving fwd? no thank you, and yes i did like the leads too

i agree, her best roles are where she is a wallflower, or laidback. she can't do femme fatale/seductive roles. its why i don't find her 2025 mini drama reign successful, they keep miscasting her in all these mini dramas with already below par stories

i feel exactly the same way lol, i was at ep 19 thinking any day now. i paused the drama once i found out it would take that long

oh final thoughts. look how beautiful darren chen is! it is hard to believe his mgt can't find him a main role with a decent budget. and someone pls give bi wen jun a costume drama where he finally gets the girl 🤲

sigh okay i have watched as much as i can for now but nothing is really happening, and their love story isn't swoon worthy enough to hold me. i heard it picks up in the 2nd half so i'll just pause for now and go watch something else

i really like li shuang's legolas vibe (lean, swift, featherlight, delicate but deadly, quick with it, you get the idea). this is something that producers really need to lean into if they're gonna keep feeding us rail thin female generals

I dropped this drama while it was airing but I just randomly went back to watch the ending and lmaooo, i'm happy I have yet another drama I can confidently recommend to my enemies. see how the fl in this drama had casual friendships with multiple men and none of it was weird? see how its even not that hard eh? writers?

hm now that i finished i'll give it a 7 for the pretty people and pretty things and happy ending, and i was entertained for the most part, also it was very thoughtful of them to come back and give us a closure on her first life. but do not be deceived, both the romance and her revenge were very underwhelming.
