i liked the fight between wei ran and yi xiao. how the scene was split between darkness and moonlight, how it was so close, you didn't know who was gonna win, how they were allowed to fight without any interruptions, just like siblings should. the emotional component was also there i get why she couldn't kill him.
sigh this is how it feels to have a strong smart fmc who can handle her own business. so far i've never had to second guess any of her decisions or actions, i just watch on in peace. this is bliss
i think i don't find princess i can fix him annoying because she's well written, at least so far the reasons for her stupidity are numerous and well documented.

jing tian really doesn't do it for me, once you've watched her beam brilliantly up at one of her mls in one of her dramas that's it. after that she feels...commercial? hate to say it bc i luv my fls but zhang wan yi truly did carry this drama, he is subtle and talented and he has range. eitherway though i'm dropping this 23 eps is enough for me, esp since i don't really find the storyline engaging or care that much about any of the characters.
the last six or so eps weren't as enjoyable as the ones that came before - very ironic bc they're the ones that fell victim to capitalism. but at least our girl completed her revenge and got her happy ending. i know i'm gonna be seeing her and that other beautiful 2fl actress in a lot more dramas after this. someone needs to teach deng kai how to do proper onscreen kisses, he's too tall not to know how to.
