there's something really special about Edward Zhang the senior brother li actor, i always look fwd to seeing him, even if he's playing the bad guy. he just has the kindest calmest eyes 🥰. this drama really has a solid list of supporting and guest actors. but ofc they do, male centered dramas do not play around

this isn't an enemies to lovers though. yes their families had an history of enmity which only the ml inherited. she 100% went into that relationship intending to make it work and continually gave in to him precisely bc she didn't want to be on his bad side, and he although conflicted for much of the drama definitely fell for her at first sight, and it was abundantly clear he would never actually hurt her the way he would his enemy. I still gave the drama an 8 bc its very beautiful but that specific tag is a pseudo tag imo

i've only seen two eps but I'll pause for now. I normally don't mind fls who came back for revenge I actually like watching them cook even though they're always obvs wrong smh. but no I can't stand this one I find her annoying.
