yes the first 5 ish eps i've seen so far are good. can't recommend anything beyond that bc its a mini drama and you never know what foolishness is hiding just around the corner
Du Yu Ming the old bug actor is so good, I completely forgot all about his terrifying characters in jol, sword snow stride, etc. i nearly screamed when I remembered🥲🤭
ep 15 - its really hard to be on the side of the people who died bc like y'all are getting killed for a reason, and its giving there's a really good reason. its like Ripe Town when all those people were getting killed and the vibe was all 👀 but what did y'all do
ep 23 and things are stupid again 🙄. the leads low-key don't deserve these multiple chances bc why y'all so slow and clueless despite all that foreknowledge?!
I appreciate that the fl is written to have gravitas. like when she steps fwd and says something, esp when she's on a case and her opps are being difficult, her words carry a lot of weight/cut across the nonsense/carry a hidden threat/stop the foolishness, etc. very nice!
everytime peacock thinks he caught Xiao beiming, but its just someone else🤣🤣🤣the way his expression goes from delight to shock then disappointment 😂. it's a good running gag
I like the relationship between the characters, esp when the other guys call the ml older brother like aw yes he does give off big bro vibes doesn't he?!
tailor was a good villain. his crimes were clever, ruthless and appalling and his story and reasons were crisp, interesting and kinda understandable. and to top it all off he's only a sub villain? yea 10/10
