story aside, which I just started skipping through after a while, the ml has a very nice intensity that rubs off on everyone around him, it's a shame he doesn't seem to have more opportunities

it has some problems already mentioned by others below but nothing overtly annoying. it was a good enough watch, I would recommend. I like how the ml's rumored ruthlessness slowly rubbed off on the fl it was good character development. she would make a great protagonist empress.the actress is really likeable too. their romance was also nice and long without any interruptions but it wasn't boring like you'd expect.

the filter is almost donghua quality, they turned the settings all the way up. it is so light and bright! I was just thinking to myself you can play the drama on your phone and use it as a torchlight😂

her father is always pushing her out to go and meet people then moaning that a grown daughter can't be kept home 🤣😂. I adore them so much, their relationship is one of the highlights of the drama. they not only love each other, they also genuinely like each other

'fearless' fl endures extreme abuse for ✨ emotional/capitalist reasons ✨ . like girl would your mama really want you doing all that for a company? be fr now. even 5% of what that dude did to her could have killed her but she boss bitch'd through it all which made that whole plot shallow and the graphic scenes merely gratuitous. the ml was mostly a green flag though. his girl was in an extremely sexually charged relationship and he never even blinked. and that brings misogyny down by -3.5 points. anyway I don't really have any strong feelings about it overall. watch if you need something to pass the time.

wait I don't think i've ever seen these two together which is weird bc they've got to be some of the most popular in that circuit, anyway can't wait! mini dramas have really really been knocking it out the park lately with their main cps

i think that yuchen as her man and yuchen as the father of her children are two different things. she did all those things you mentioned for her man who she was willing to be with, but she didn't think him fit enough, economically, behaviorally or otherwise to be her children's father. she expressed disgust or alarm or anger at the thought of him finding out and even after seeing how good he was with them her prejudice didn't budge, not once and she just kept making excuses. but yeah the writing is dumb fundamentally so heh

I like the look of it and i'm really interested in the culture, but she interacts with their world in such a disappointing way, and the story is too lackluster for me. i'll circle back maybe

these two have such a very special chemistry, and they can act. I wish better, full length scripts with bigger budgets upon them. but I was not really a fan of this. it was really clear that she looked down on his status the entire drama, its why she never told him about the kids, and her love never conquered her bias in the end. anyway, it was nice to look at, and again the leads? bueno
