i really like the weapon spirit. i like the concept of a weapon spirit, i like the characterization and the actor brings it to life very nicely. just 10s across the board
I really like this kind of ml, just completely grey to the core but like in a way that makes sense. I was watching him just standby during that boat slaughter and like yea screw them tbh. I hope they won't turn him into a puppy once he falls in love
How is it so far? I have been putting it off because the trailer threw me off a little with the sound quality…
I really like it, i've watched seven episodes so far and I don't have even one complaint. to watch while it airs or binge after, you can try the first ep and see what u think
Same, I was so confused with this scene as well. Before she entered the palace when he got her down the carriage,…
I think the bone of contention there was that he thought she was only going in there to reason with the consort. he didn't know she was going to threaten her with her hairpin (he figured it out while she was inside) and he didn't know she had written a divorce letter so he thought she went rogue and put his family in danger
I agree to this cuz if we remember clearly consort would have been long gone if that memorial would have been…
exactly. hy only extended her life for a bit. yeah but like remember even if she didn't go to the residence her father and his wife already guessed at the connection between her and the consort. she went and taunted him but it's implied her father was always gonna contact that duke eitherway once he had a chance to finish his thought so I don't really feel that scene had much bearing on his actions
the consort's death wasn't really hanyan's fault, she's a whole consort who was making a play for ultimate power c'mon someone was bound to get her. also we don't see enough fl's rage in cdrama-land, that must be why people interpreted the stabbing in ep 24 as anger or revenge towards the ml when that moment had absolutely nothing to do with him.
why was fyx so mad at her in ep 23? bc she went inside the palace and threatened the consort without telling him thereby putting his family in danger? was that emotional outburst supposed to be her grand strategy or was there something else? and what would she have achieved if her threats and tears didn't work? and how exactly did she use him? weren't they trying to get into the supervisor's office anyway? like this all seems to be a whole bunch of nothing to me but they're making it seem like she perfectly crafted and executed a master plan. or maybe there was something I missed
i'm happy Mrs Deng got out. I'm even happier that the FL in spite of her all consuming vengeance was conscious and compassionate enough to lend a hand. i'm only sad that bastard grandpa deng also got what he wanted, but it is a man's world in the end
her post wedding costumes are gorgeous, and they're mostly a variation of black and red, perfectly suited for her whole vengeance is mine vibe. wardrobe department, accept your flowers!!💐🧎
ep 20 - I have low hopes for their partnership/marriage. he's not fully onboard her revenge train its just a means to an end for him, but that's all she cares about sooo
i liked this drama lmao, i generally think kdramas are all the same shade of boring so this was a very welcome change. it was a rom-com to the hilt and i really enjoyed it. totally recommended!
