battleaxe

someone needs to beat some sense into that cousin, he's way too grown to be acting this way over a girl he met three months ago. he's a whole official too

actually that innkeeper girl is a cutie I kinda like her lol. but omg 😭 someone shut that place down and arrest them all bro wtf!!

I hope those marks he keeps drawing on her hand aren't costing him like 10yrs off his life each, or something

so based off ep 1, its just the bad girl facing off against her former self, and its all a tribulation in the end. not a particularly exciting concept. pause

so her daddy knew all about demons yet he still let her be drugged and gaslit for all those years.. father of the year right there

the mirror demon's last memory should have been of ji li spitting on him, not crying over him. kinda felt like he won a lil

he came around really quickly though lol

xuan ye was right to just keep ignoring that stupid self important constable chu, i'm gonna start skipping his scenes too, until a demon gets him 😝

the rabbit is such a rabbit lmaooo. i can't believe he left her in the morgue and thought it was funny, which itself is funny🤣

see how she's timid but not childish?? exactly

the lead's outfits?🔥🔥🔥🔥 also they had a really really cute and fun dynamic. I loved the location as well, the cute houses, the beach, etc. I watched from ep 1-28 and I was never bored. I only stopped watching bc its too long lmao and i'm generally not into modern dramas but yea I totally recommend the 1st half. I liked how loud mouthed and bratty the FL was and I liked that the ml wasn't your typical cold ml and they were both smart. the FL did have on too much makeup though in every single scene, she looked ultra picture perfect just like she did in skip a beat. her muas must be working double time lol. oh also I thought she couldn't act when I watched skip a beat but this drama convinced me otherwise. fzx was on fire as usual, what an underrated young actor!

so I guess this is finally coming then?!😭 faith pays off you guys!

awww i'm so happy they're finally airing this! I literally have such a huge smile on my face rn 😊

now why the ml gotta be a simp for wanting to help alleviate women's oppression? who wrote that? anyway i'm dropping this it's boring. also these two good actors somehow have -0 chemistry. they both seem to have a solid lineup of upcoming dramas so I'll go cheer them on there

i've watched all the xianxias but this is really the first one were i'm looking at the romance like 🥴 should she really be falling in love with someone that was praying to her?? anyway I finally crawled to the ending (very ashes of love btw) and the the mdl rating for once is approp, it might even drop down a lil which is also fitting. see y'all in the next one👋

with the way the ml is always eagerly standing up for her one would think she's his consort. i'm surprised the emperor hasn't grown sus yet

i get hanyu's motives, although i don't understand how she became and remained a god with all that deep rooted hatred. the god making system in this story is very ineffective. like the moment she descended to do evil thunder should have automatically struck her dead, regardless whether the other gods were aware or alive or not

I dropped his last three dramas as well and i'm just kinda coasting along on this one. he's a very serviceable actor but he doesn't get very good scripts, and looking at his past dramas, I don't really think he gets to pick and choose.

yea those things (confession, consequences, etc) are very valid. but ig i was more fascinated by the repentance aspect and how sometimes it really is that simple to just stop, acknowledge the error and get back on the right track. and to me he wasn't really that bad to start with, just greedy

it was a badass power move. she said me? run? 🙃
