whoever thought to put comedy inside this instead of keeping it thriller-ish made an error. like first of all nothing is funny, about the general situation or gangcheol. its all actually quite serious. and the thriller aspect is so good why not drill down into that instead of breaking our immersion with mindless comedy.
maybe the leads already met five years ago? they fell for each other so easily its giving they were already in love. and xia mo keeps getting deja Vu, and there was that whole fight they had about that girl's bf forgetting her. and they both have no memories of what happened 5 yrs ago..

I just finished ep 1 and 😲🤯 so unexpected lol. i can't wait to see what happens next! she should have made the stone into pieces of jewelry though, instead of just carrying it around
admittedly the drama does go awry in the last six ish eps, but like the rise of phoenixes and its unfortunate last dozen or so eps, it does not take away from the perfection that came before. I especially rate this drama really highly bc both men and women were given an equal platform to aim for power, like there was a really balanced quality to the writing and that is RARE in dramas like these, rare! also for once we got a truly complicated FL with heavy considerations that lay beyond the ml so yea bravo!
