i did finish it although i didn't find it very engaging, but i think it was good for the actors. like their characters were very mature and grounded and they nailed it, i hope more and more producers see their value and pour more into them.
these second leads....smh! i was still side-eyeing him for letting go of his beloved so quickly after only staring at some trees and weeping a little, but then she pops out all with all that murder and like 🤗 nah they can keep each other
aw its only 2 eps but i like them already. he's so sad and she's all aww why you so sad? 🤧 also kudos to the lady that sang that one ost its really nice
okay now this is a mini drama that mini drama'd right, totally recommend! it was such a great palate cleanser! the cp is gorgeous too, he's very green but his awkwardness is charming and hankiz omar is so stunning and so underrated, even with a light role she manages to bring some depth to it. they obviously had some budget too bc they had a bunch of sponsors and even some "guest stars," the ending could be better but overall, i'll give it a solid mini drama 8
Yeah I am afraid I have very little sympathy left for Lord Langya. I know he is righteous and well meaning but…
and even if he didn't want to be emperor he could have just let his bro crash and burn on his own and retired to jianghu with his martial siblings and girl. that dude wouldn't be here without him, but he willingly backed him so strongly despite watching him murder and ruin so many lives. then proceeded to hang around and grow emperor like powers while not wanting to be emperor himself. exactly which emperor would let that happen? he makes no sense. he and su muyu were both nurtured by outstanding men, but only the latter has enough sense to use his power to carve out a reality he wants, while this langya wang caged himself with his own power. i did not feel sorry for his end
randomly stumbled on your review and it brought back memories of me watching this drama last year and being so exhausted by it, i don't think i watched the last four eps bc i l noped after looking up the writer and seeing she's the same person that wrote king's daughter soo baek hyung, one of the most promising, exhausting, long, drawn out, contrived and least rewarding kdramas i've ever watched in my enter life. anyway, nice review!
alright i felt bad for xiao ruofeng, and he was cute or wteva. but i still ain forget what he did to that girl in dashing youth!!! and how he failed to protect the world from his brother and just enabled his evil butt while acting like he had no choice . but i'm surprised su muyu especially doesn't see how DR approaching him at this time is bad for him, and by extension them. oh also Bai Shu has been around consistently for a while why isn't he getting at least 2nd ml roles?? what's up with his mgt
Maybe you should rewatch Blood of Youth then....why waste your time 🧐🧐
i find that the camera focuses on bhh a lot, like she's about to do something, but then...nothing. also i guess they had to somehow make up for all that heavy queerbaiting they did in the first half hence all the bland dr house scenes, but they're overcompensating, as usual
I believe there is a longstanding rivalry bc Wushuang City was the top martial arts city before Xueyue City eclipsed…
lmaoooooooo this is hilarious! but true 💀💀 she really isn't likable, which is odd bc its a wuxia. the average character is affable. i remember i only rooted for her in blood of youth bc of her brother
changhe told that tang lady su mu yu went to pay the bill and she actually believed it 😭😭😭😭 like first of all everyone knows su mu yu has no money! 🤣🤣🤣🤣😭

bring back all the original cast, please and thank you
