The four original members, time to teach a new generation of RM. 😁 And maybe, just maybe, we can go back to…
I don't know where you got the idea that they stopped because they are too old. They are physically fit to run and do a lot of activity. All of them are more physically fit than YeEun. It's been only a few years since they did Outrun by Running Man and they literally outruned young idols. Young doesn't mean a thing when you are mostly slacking around. Those guys work out frequently. They said this before. Koreans hate action variety shows. Only international fans are missing the action. They only got their ratings increased when they stopped trying to go for the action. Koreans found it repetitive. Follow the TV ratings and see for yourself. Most the high rated programs don't involve action, and they mostly talk and eat.
I miss it too. I also get bored with the constant eating, but I know that mukbangs are the trend, and they wouldn't survive if they didn't submit to the trends.
I don't know why there is always people who say that somebody revived the show. The ratings were high, and they were constantly ranked high in brand reputation index. It was only dead or struggling to you and whoever shares the same opinion. Not to the majority of viewers.
Also, young blood are starting their own shows and they are failing miserably. Most of the shows that don't involve veterans get canceled after 10 episodes. The producers have done their stats and thought this is the best option. They tried to change the members before and they failed. They lost more than they would've gained if they did. If the program was failing, they would've canceled it. They are not staying for loyalty. They are definitely earning much more than they are investing if they are sticking with it all these years.
real ppl ARE like that :) The kdramas are not about holly people :)
I wouldn't say that these people are real people. This is what's annoying. They are all good and too nice people except for the villains. The villians are what I call real people. They aren't too bad that you think these are out of a Marvel movie. They have human reasons to do bad. The eagle family along with their sister-in-law are just a bunch of "saints". They arr too nice and perfect to do anything wrong, but when they do it's just annoying and not really wrong.
Gang Su sending a video of his brother's kid with the brother on his bed, wearing homewear and saying "I love you" to the camera to the brother's stalker is just crazy. Like... Is he trying to feed her delusion?
Is there a character you didn't get annoyed by at least once in the drama? I think I got annoyed by all of them at least once. I can't think of a character who I didn't say "what's wrong with them?" about them.
I agree with Seri and Okbun but regarding Dongseok I feel like it’s because he feels that she could be interested…
I don't agree that time isn't related to the depth of love. I doubt that people who only dated for a few months would have the same deep relationship as those who were married for 50 years. After living together for years and building all these memories together, it becomes so difficult to let go as everything reminds you of that person.
I agree with Seri and Okbun but regarding Dongseok I feel like it’s because he feels that she could be interested…
They did mention how long they were together though. You can tell from the age of their children that it was for so long, but he said that they met in the university and got married soon after that. There is definitely a huge difference in time between his relationship with his wife, and the FL relationship with her husband who dated only a few months before they got married for 10 days.
I don't think it's a natural weight loss. She probably took some shots or something. She can't lose this much…
She is eating a lot on TV, especially cakes and pastries. I don't think she can lose that much weight even if she stopped eating all together between the filming dates. She has been saying that she is on a diet but she always eat a lot regardless, so I'm thinking that maybe she is embarrassed to say that she is getting some kind of procedures done. I'm not even doubting that she is doing it unnaturally. I'm just carious about what the procedures are. LOL
How did Yeeun do it? They only had 1 week gap per taping between episodes (and 1 week for editing so two weeks…
I don't think it's a natural weight loss. She probably took some shots or something. She can't lose this much weight naturally within a week, no matter how fast her metabolism is, especially when she is eating this much with no exercise.
ep. 9 I guess Han-deul's parents are supposed to be the traditional parents ashamed that their daughter got divorced…
I think that she didn't mention that to her parents. Her mother especially didn't seem to know. She asked her if it was because she was having an affair with Lee Dong Wook's character. I guess the female lead is also ashamed that she got cheated on and concealed that from her parents, or she just didn't want to hurt them. I think it's the first reason. Some people blame themselves, or maybe they don't want to be that person in their parent's eyes.
wait the drama brought up the dead sister once or twice and then never again. thought it would be a whole thing
It is a whole thing. It's the reason why the male lead divorces too easily. Kwang Soo's character mentioned this to the female lead. They don't straight forwardly say everything though. He only said that he always let go very easily because he didn't want the other person to suffer. They let you connect the dots between this and the fact that his sister killed herself because she wanted to get a divorce and didn't get the support she needed from him. Meaning he didn't want his partner to end up like his sister.
Not really, especially for a tvN drama, and for a drama that is out on OTT platforms as it airs. It's 8th in Prime…
Let me make it simple for you: If I bought several bags worth $1000 Sold one in a park, and received $10, and sold the rest online and received $1 million. Is my business a flop? I got a profit of $999000!
Dramas work the same way. You combine your profit from all sources (TV broadcasting stations, online streaming...etc), you deduct what you already spent on it, then decide if it's a flop or not. A drama would be a flop if earnings from both TV and online didn't cover what they spent on it.
The conclusion is, you can't tell if something is a flop if they didn't tell you how much they spent on it and how much they have received in return, unless it was obvious that they didn't do well in both TV ratings and online streaming, but this is not the case here. It's not high school where if they get an F in something it means they failed.

What makes this cast different than any cast in any other drama? Most of the main cast are more popular in variety shows than in dramas. It's not like they've got all the main leads from the most popular dramas to work on this. Do you hate the director or something?

Even if there are dramas that have done better, it doesn't mean it's a huge flop. A flop is a flop compared to the investment (money, effort...etc) they put into it, not compared to other dramas. OTT is now the main legal method of watching media. Ratings aren't a great indicator of the return on investment anymore.
With the amount of promo that they did for this drama and having Lee Dong Wook in the cast, 1% is such a Huge…
Not really, especially for a tvN drama, and for a drama that is out on OTT platforms as it airs. It's 8th in Prime Video in my region. It's been in the top 10 since it started. You can't tell if it's a flop based on TV ratings. They could've broke even with Prime Video streaming.
The teacher is such a fool. If that many people warned you about someone, get the hell out. Poor thing, it feels like I'm watching someone getting hit by a truck and no being able to help them. I hope this won't end up very badly for her. I sincerely hope that we are wrong about him.
Oh wow! Oh Shinda is quite brazen. She says she doesn't want to be someone's second choice and was frustrated when he wend on a date with another woman but she was doing the same to him. I cheat but how dare you cheat on me. Does she realize that all this is caught on camera. LOL
Whoever will end up with those people is entering a minefield: 1. Man#11 (the creepy controlling pervert who is with the teacher) 2. Woman#18 (the always laughing woman, who keeps getting men tangled with her drama thinking that she is being sincere towards them when she can't make up her mind) 3. Woman#19 (the woman who "got hurt in the past" and never got over it) I also don't like how indecisive Man#3 (the man who is too into woman#19), and I'm starting not to like Man#21 (the long haired man who chose woman#5). He doesn't seem to be serious enough.

You sweet innocent prey.
I feel so bad for her, I feel like crying.
