I was only talking about the setup. There is a reason why the gamer was chosen. He was an unemployed "loser" who spends most of his time playing games alone and seemingly nobody cares about him. This one's evidence is too easy to dismantle. There was plenty of reasonable doubt, so the villain seemed a bit sloppier than the one in the movie.

I don't understand what you mean. You can't prove you are not a criminal, unless you have a solid alibi. This is not applicable to this case since there is no specific time or place for the crime, and even if it was it's all forgotten. Eitherway, the other side has to prove you are a criminal. In defamation cases, the burdon of proof is on the person who committed the defamation to prove they were telling the truth, otherwise it's false and they are prosecuted. This is how it's done in my country. I'm not aware of every country's laws.

3 years ago, Kim Jong Kook, Haha and Ji Seok Jin did a spin-off of Running Man called Outrun by Running Man. They did an episode playing the nametags ripping game against idols, and another running from zombies, and they had no issue running and fighting. Haha managed in one episode to overcome and survive the attack of three idols at the same time by holding on to his nametag for few minutes, when he wasn't even allowed to rip their nametags.

How do you think this was played? They went to the production team and said "we are all tired, we should stop playing games", then the production team said "well, we can't do this without you, let's change the show to a mukbang so that you can just sit around and eat"? They would've replaced them all in a second. They mentioned this before in one of the episodes. Koreans don't enjoy these types of shows anymore. Sitting and eating has become a trend in Korea, and TV ratings are important, that's why they are doing it this way, not because they got old. Three years ago, they easily outrun young idols. They workout a lot and they are probably more fit than you and me. I agree with you that it's boring. It's boring even for me. It's just that you shouldn't blame the members for the production team's fault. It's not those who you see are to blame.

I think "the one who has the biggest motive" is not always true, that's why I consider it a gut feeling, not a deduction based on evidence. I don't like obvious evidence either, but in this case there wasn't any physical evidence at all. The napkin was easily explainable by many things that isn't involvement in murder. That is why I didn't like this episode. If that was a real person, we would say that "the jury" jumped to a conclusion and put a man who might be innocent in prison. I hate when there is still reasonable doubt, and they end up choosing the culprit by luck, that their own gut feeling turned out to be true.

Yes, but what's the point of the episode if they just went with their guts at the end? I don't know, maybe I was expecting better physical evidence. Their faces before the final voting says it. They were as clueless as when they started. Haha

I hope they would change the cast. I think it's gotten a bit too easy for them to solve the crime, and for us to tell who the culprit is based on how they are acting.
