I like it. It reminds me of the old Korean rom-coms. They stopped doing them (ridiculous and fast-paced) like this. Also, I like all the parodies, like the jacket scene from The Classic. All the other skits are funny too, like his fear of being very old while still playing the detective, his desperation for a new role, his seemingly lame scandals that are blown out of proportion, and his relationship with his brother, the director, and his manager.
The female character was kind of annoying, but I'm hoping she will grow on me. I like the "fan-girl" character that she is heading towards.
Kim Ji Hoon has unexpectedly a small insignificant role in this, and his character is the most boring character on the planet. It makes me think that he just said yes when he saw that Lee Jung Jae would be the main lead.
You are saying it doesn't deserve 8 and also complaining when others think it deserves more...see the logical…
I've never edited the original comment. I only edited my reply to you to add to my reply to make myself more clear (that my opinion doesn't match the average) before I read yours. Don't be a sore argumenter. We have different opinions and it's ok.
This is quite funny. You calling out what is a fair rating is also meta-policing. You’re saying others shouldn’t…
I didn't edit my comment after I read yours. I posted it the first part in a hurry, then I added the second before I even read yours. You think I'm a manipulative person, but I'm really not. I don't want to "win" this argument. I just want to make myself clear so that you don't misunderstand me. I really didn't read your comment beforehand, sorry if that's how it came across, I don't even know which part you thought I added so that I could "win". Your comment still seems relevant to me. Have a nice day.

Any average rating between 1-10 is fair and not outrageous, because it's an average of what multiple users think about the drama at this point in time. Does that help you understand what I mean? I can't help with how it came across. This is not my first language, and I have explained what I mean many times in many ways.
I was referring to people who accuse people who don't agree with their assessment of the drama as "JCW haters". I don't mind if people (pointed out) that they thought 7.9 is not fair.

I didn't say it doesn't deserve 8 (don't put words in my mouth). I was talking about MDL in general. Not this drama. Most dramas here are above 8. That is why you think 7.9 is low even though it's not. 7.9 is a very watchable movie in IMDb.

It's fair because it is there. If it was 9 I would've said it's fair too. It means "it's not outrageous". That's not policing. I'm saying you shouldn't cry about where the current average is at.
My personal rating is much lower than that, but I know that's just my opinion, I wouldn't fight people over theirs. If you think it's 10 then rate it 10. Don't "scream at" people because you didn't like the average.
I think 7.9 is a fair rating (so far). I don't know why people feel the need to police it. That's why rarely any drama in here has a rating below 8 even when they don't deserve it. Ji Chang Wook is one of my favorite actors, but even I can tell you that this drama is kind of mediocre. Just because you are excited about it doesn't mean everyone should or that it's worthy of an average rating of 10. Just let the rating be. It will probably end up above 8 (and not because it deserves it).
I was only talking about the setup. There is a reason why the gamer was chosen. He was an unemployed "loser" who spends most of his time playing games alone and seemingly nobody cares about him. This one's evidence is too easy to dismantle. There was plenty of reasonable doubt, so the villain seemed a bit sloppier than the one in the movie.
They start differently but they end up with the same "problem", and while the movie stops early, this continues to show you the full revenge part. The characters are different, too.
So you can't prove you are not a criminal cause you do have criminal records ?
Did the alleged victim prove it though? Nobody worships this kid. I think you are the one treating him differently because he is a celebrity. Anyone can say anything about anyone. If they don't have proof, then they should handle it privately. You can't just ruin someone's livelihood without any evidence to back it up. He is innocent until proven guilty.
So you can't prove you are not a criminal cause you do have criminal records ?
I don't understand what you mean. You can't prove you are not a criminal, unless you have a solid alibi. This is not applicable to this case since there is no specific time or place for the crime, and even if it was it's all forgotten. Eitherway, the other side has to prove you are a criminal. In defamation cases, the burdon of proof is on the person who committed the defamation to prove they were telling the truth, otherwise it's false and they are prosecuted. This is how it's done in my country. I'm not aware of every country's laws.
In my country, if you post something like this publicly, you are the one who is required to prove it, otherwise it's deemed false. It is weird to have it reversed in this case. No one can prove that they didn't bully anyone. How are they expecting him to do that?
The one obviously hiding in New Zealand should be automatically prosecuted for failing to provide evidence for what he has claimed.
