One of my favorite parts is the goat taking its time when telling them "I will tell you a fact that everyone knows except you... You guys are awfully ugly". LOL I also liked the zombie cop. I still think it brought down the show even though these moments were hilarious. I think it became more of a silly comedy I was entertained by rather than a comedy masterpiece that everyone should watch, and I really thought it had the potential to be that.
I think it would've been way better executed without the fantasy. There were a lot of funny things that happened thanks to the fantasy element, but it kinda brought it down in my opinion. Two nice but "awfully ugly" guys who are often mistakenly confused for criminals is a really funny concept. It would've been a classic comedy if it wasn't for the often silly fantasy.
You're not the only one!!!! I cringed so hard. And even before that, I really disliked him. All the "I don't like…
I agree on all three. His awful personality is definitely showing. He even didn't shy away from saying "I have to" when she asked him in front of everyone. I think he thinks he's being discrete about how awful his real personality is, but the PDs caught him. They are even showing a bad look of him in the previews. He is such a creep.
Woman #6 was pretty smart: if something so minor triggers a man so much, then he's a total red flag. She verified…
Yes. I agree with you. I got that too, he handled this badly, especially since he said he knew she was playing smart when he was talking to the other guys. Sometimes, some people do that if they are insecure, they don't mean to punish you, they just think you are not interested, but those people either come talk to you to make sure you are not interested or never come at all, but he didn't seem to be doing that out of insecurity, he knew she was just being smart and thought it was his place to teach her a lesson. He even walked right past her to stand in line. He only came back when he saw she was getting weaker thinking she is now easier to control, but thankfully she ended up destroying him in the stage. I honestly don't believe that none of them were interested to even talk to her. Is it an age thing? The way this is broadcasted, makes everything look weird. They are focusing only on a few people, and most of these people start obsessing over one person, then suddenly everything goes to sh*t. I don't like it at all. I don't think you can actually find a matching partner this way, half of the people get dropped without talking to anyone. I also hated the guy who rudely refused the younger girl when he knew her age and also smelled the cushion after the woman has been sitting on it. That dude is a creep. Even in the preview, he looks so perverted watching the blond woman, I feel like this guy is going to gross us out even more. The way he ended things abruptly with the young girl was awful. Anyone could see that she was hurt by it. He could've voiced his concern and moved on, but he treated her like a child who is wasting his precious time.
I think woman#6 (the former kpop idol) just didn't want to do the show anymore. Maybe she figured it was better…
Seeing that they both went for the single zone, I think they mutually agreed on something, and we will find about their conversation next week. Maybe it's an age thing.
I think woman#6 (the former kpop idol) just didn't want to do the show anymore. Maybe she figured it was better to try her luck in the real world. She is right about that. Although, I actually thought her conversation with that guy went really well, but they both missed up. She went the smart way and hurt his feelings, and he went the sulky way and didn't save the situation. I think one of them should've been more forward. I'm worried about woman#5. I knew the long haired guy was actually interested in her personality, so I'm glad she grew her confidence a little, but I'm worried because I think it might've been a better choice if she just left like woman#6 did. This program isn't really for serious people, no matter how they are marketing it as. It is tough for people who are serious about getting married.
3 episodes in and... idk if I'm cheering for any couple to be honest :')It's still the beginning and I hope to…
I don't think it's because of the cultural difference, she has some weird goals that she is too forward about. She has some kind of tunnel vision of aiming to be a trophy wife. I think even the guy with her thinks she is weird but he is too blinded by her sexiness. He keeps doing the slapped-with-a-comment facial expression whenever he's talking to her.
What's with the guy smelling the cushion? Maybe it's just me coming from a conservative culture, but I thought it was perverted. Don't you think it was very weird? I cringed, I didn't think it was funny. I would've barfed if a guy did that in front of me. Yuck
I too think the hate for her is a little forced. She has yet to do anything deserving of that and it's clear she…
Yeah, and when she realized her daughter was determined, she stopped nagging her, even though it was hard for her to see her struggle to carry her 10days-husband's family.
Why are people hating on the mother? I don't think she's bad. She's not the "perfect" mother, but who is? She cares about her daughter's well-being, she doesn't physically abuse her, and she doesn't intentionally hurt her for selfish reasons. That's a mother who is decent enough, in my opinion. Not sure why mothers are hated on for not being the perfect angels who worship their daughters regardless of the situation they are put in. She is just a typical mother who is trying to do well by her daughter but failing by forcing what she thinks is best, not what her daughter wants or needs. Also, I honestly think that feigning interest in the factory is too much to ask of the person whose money got forcefully invested in it.
I'm confused about how Woman#2 misunderstood the rapper. I thought it was obvious he had no confidence in himself in front of her, which I find quite endearing, it means he thinks she can do better whenever she wants. She eliminated him too quickly, I thought maybe this is why she is #2, she seems too clueless when it comes to interpreting situations. I can't believe she threw away a chance of marrying her idol who seemed genuinely into her, she was lucky to have met him at these types of shows. Their situation reminded me of the Gangnam couple in the first season.
I don't like Man#4 and Woman#10 together. I feel like their relationship could turn unhealthy pretty fast. A woman who is intimidated by handsome men, and a handsome man who is too obsessed with her. That's a recipe for a disaster.
I find the blond woman tiresome. She is more like a robot than a human. "I want.. I want... I want" with no emotions.
I think Woman#5 should've gone with the long haired fella, he was the only one who talked about her personality rather than her appearance. But I was really glad she at least didn't pick the guy who said "she became beautiful on the outside after she was beautiful on the inside in season 1". She is very smart. Although you don't have to be very smart to notice the passive aggressive "compliment". Too bad she didn't hear the long haired guy talking about how he liked her personality. I'm hoping there is another chance to get to know if he is more suitable. I really sympathize with her need for a guy who likes her for her personality.
I'm here just to share my opinion about the 'Experts' that appear.Their job here is as matchmakers for the participants.…
I think you may have misunderstood what I'm saying. When I said that she shouldn't have said that "there is no woman who doesn't like a dermatologist.", I didn't mean women don't have standards there about dermatologist or that she should've took into consideration all the women around the world. It's just that this statement cannot be proven, and it is more likely to be false than not, because what is the likeliness of all women in Korea agreeing on something?
Her being an "expert" saying stuff no one can prove unless they asked all Korean women is what I'm complaining about.
She should've said "Dermatologists are very popular", or even "Most women like dermatologists" would've been more accurate even if it also cannot be proven without actual data.
I also didn't say the couples shouldn't asked each other serious questions, it's just that the "experts" only asked them materialistic questions, like where do you want to get married? Where do you want to live? What is the cost of the ring? The couple that failed, found out about their differences by themselves with no help from the experts.
I know this is just an entertainment show, but she is marketed as an "expert", she should be behaving like one, and watching what she says. The show could do a lot better in terms of experts is all I'm saying. They could try out other more useful experts who take personality differences into consideration.
I'm here just to share my opinion about the 'Experts' that appear.Their job here is as matchmakers for the participants.…
I don't usually watch dating shows, I started this since the first season because Kim Jong Kook was one of the MCs, and I find myself enjoying hating on the hair-pulling moments of the show.
The "experts" are useless in my opinion in both data and matchmaking. I think you also agree that having a huge number of people getting married as a result of their matchmaking is not an indication of how good they are in that area, I could gather 100 desperate people and they would get married tomorrow, even when I'm not an expert.
If you watched season 1 too, you may remember that these experts were totally useless even when the contestants have already chosen their partners, they kept asking them some questions an AI can ask you and give you a more helpful and better results.
Their only task in this show is to watch and say annoying generalizations that makes you question if you are the only one who doesn't think like that. The only "ugly" people in their opinion, they've accepted them because they were far too rich to ignore, because they think looks and money are the only two criteria anyone looks for.
Note: I realize the appeal of a dermatologist in Korea specifically (There are parts of the world where this is the least attractive job a man could have), but I'm pretty sure there is at least someone in Korea who hates dating a dermatologist, either because an arrogant personality they might have, being too close to other women, being busy and many other reasons. Saying "No woman hates them" is a blind statement that no expert should spout.
Can someone recommend me any kdramas likeweak hero class 1study grouphigh school return of a gangsterboyhood
If you are interested in the extreme action, Moving and The Uncanny Counter are great in that area. A Shop for Killers may interest you too. There is also Bloodhounds, which I didn't like, but other people seem to enjoyed it. If you are mainly looking for high school stuff, Moving has some, but The Uncanny Counter doesn't, although the main leads are quite young. All of Us Are Dead is also fun, but it's mostly about fighting zombies.
Does it get more interesting? I've watched 4 episodes, I was only interested in one case, but I lost interest because the rest took too long to conclude, and they weren't even interesting.
For those who are interested, the woman from season 1 is Woman#5 You can get a glimpse of her in the full shot of the audience or in the background. I think her most clear shot is at 20:20 (the moment where the male contestant from the previous season was giving hearts), but I'm not sure if there is another clearer shot.
I hope they get rid of the so called experts from the 1st season. They are so ignorant, it's frustrating, and they are mostly projecting their superficial ideologies into everyone with the same gender.
- "What do women appreciate most in a man?" - "Of course economic power and height are the most important for women." - "WOW, why didn't these rich men get picked?" - "Lately, women have been appreciating appearance more than before"
You do notice that they are quite old too? How did you know they rejected them because of their appearance? One of them is even divorced.
And why did about half of the women vote down or never vote for the relatively good looking men in the previous round then? They were all handsome, rich and had very good jobs, but women kept voting down for totally unrelated reasons.
Just say that each women have her own different standards, one may appreciate good looking people, one may find them burdensome, and they are not single-minded creatures focusing only on one thing, they take a combination of factors into consideration based on their personality traits, their taste, their environment, or their upbringing. But got forbids, people think you have no idea when you are the expert! You're not doing anyone any favors by lumping us all together like that.
I like how the first woman who we saw go on a date said that she finds handsome men burdensome, and she doesn't like tall people. She totally embarrassed the so called expert without even knowing.
And I know some might say that she didn't say "All women", but she didn't say "some women" either, which means her reference to all women is implied.
The other one says "There is no women who hates a dermatologist". Excuse me miss, but when did you survey the entire gender?
I also liked the zombie cop.
