You are lucky, I rewatched the first 300 episodes until I memorized them. Now I'm allowing my brain to forget…
I'm referring only to the time just after the incident, not who is passionate now. Rewatch the episodes just after the incident. They were hard to watch. The members were like the walking dead. They got much better after ChulMin PD left. Just because they were making jokes here and there doesn't mean they were fully passionate about the show, the difference between before and after the incident was so clear that it was so uncomfortable to watch. I don't think anyone currently is without a passion, even the one (I think) you are referring to, on the contrary, that person was the only one who got better after and because of the incident. They became more active in making jokes and more involved up until recently. The latest format maybe didn't suit them, I can't tell why they are not involved recently but I'm sure they haven't lost their passion. I heard that they are trying hard to improve behind the camera, they are just not good at it.
Wi Gen. I forget her background/story. I thought she was from like waayyyyyy back then. But she has a daughter…
Maybe they die of age in there just like humans on Earth do, so they get replaced with new ones when they die, that's why all of them are from modern times.
there’s NO WAY yall all watched all the episodes? where the hell do I start?!
You are lucky, I rewatched the first 300 episodes until I memorized them. Now I'm allowing my brain to forget so that I can rewatch them again. My advice is to start from the beginning so that you can get to know the members and that they can grow on you. Then after the episodes get boring for you (which they will), you can skip the episodes you don't think you will like, and maybe check them out later. The best episodes for me are between 1-200. If I had an option I would've skipped all the episodes that have long-term projects (missions that last a month or so). Starting from 2017, you will find a lot of those. The mood also shifts because of the incident with the sudden "stepping down" announcement, and the members lose their passion. They will get some of it back after ChulMin PD leaves though.
I'm at e622 and it bothers me how disrespectful they are with the PD. Is this ever going to stop?
Do you mean the main PD? I didn't feel they were being disrespectful, just close. She also looks so much younger than them, so I think it's okay that they are being playful. It makes a good TV. The most memorable main PD was Myuk PD since they were always arguing with him. They were also mocking BoPil PD all the time. Never happened with the original PDs though, that's because they are about the same age as them and started producing TV early on, but the members technically outrank the other PDs in the industry as their seniors.
Why did no one think of pairing Han Hyo Joo with Jo In Sung until now!??! It's like a crime since they are so…
Mine is Jang Joo Won and his wife's. I just like how they accept each other fully, no matter how faulty they are. They just love to spend time together and care for each other deeply.
The episodes about Jang Joo Won and his wife is a movie hit worthy. They are very well-written, well-acted and well-directed. Their story is so beautiful that I wish the whole series was about them. I didn't want their story to end. I will miss their flashback so much.
I so want to watch a drama similar to The Uncanny Counter but have not been able to find any:(I watched Tomorrow…
What did you like most about it? I think the movie Alienoid is the most similar to this drama. I don't remember it having comedy though. It's a fast-paced action/fantasy. If you are into the creepy mystery/fantasy element of the drama, I recommend the drama Missing: The Other Side, it is very emotional too.
Maybe this season feels more childish because the target group is underage people? Seeing that the highest average…
I think teens were always the target group even in the first season, but the previous season's writing appealed to older people too since it was well written, just like how it is with Harry Potter, a children's book that adults enjoy too so everyone can share the fun experience. This season will mostly be liked by its intended target which is a bummer for the show and everyone else.
This started interesting but after few episodes I got really bored and I had to fast forward. It would've been better as a mini drama with 4-8 episodes. The characters of Jennifer and the two friends of Yuchan are the only ones I liked. The rest of them were a bunch of adult children, and I get that the main female lead is supposed to act like a child in her thirties but I didn't expect everyone else to act like children too. Everyone was super nice, it was so annoying.
even if he still has the power, he can not use a power he does not recall. By erasing his memory of being a counter…
To answer your question. One can criticize something and still manage to find it at least watchable if not enjoyable. It's still a drama that I would give 6/10 at least. You cannot possibly expect everyone to like everything about a show or not watch it. Sharing what you like and don't like about a show is what this platform is for after all.
even if he still has the power, he can not use a power he does not recall. By erasing his memory of being a counter…
In "reality", it would've been muscle memory, or just plain "Oh! Why am I so strong?", since a memory can't change the past so the power would usually be still intact and his body will still be more powerful than normal people, like if Superman was to lose his memory, he will still be able to punch a hole in the wall, but he just can't remember why he can. Typically and based on how memory works, So Moon would return to his state just after the coma, only without memories of the coma itself and start to figure out why he has unexplainable power, but I guess the original writer wanted to use the cliche of amnesia as a tool to shake things up a little, but thought they shouldn't make it too obvious that it's the same old cliche so they seasoned it a bit. I get the idea that everything started in their brain so it can end in the brain though, and (most importantly) that it's a fantasy, just thought it was a bit unnecessary.
