Maybe you do, I personally don't cancel anyone regardless of gender until proven they have committed an unforgivable crime deliberately and with bad intentions.
PS. You said "why doesn't he beat up men?", does that not mean that he targets women only?

You are never too old to learn from your past mistakes. Implying otherwise would make a dangerous community where people who have done bad things would continue doing them because they cannot be forgiven so why bother change their ways? The word "grow up" here means "to be more mature and behave like an adult" not literally "to become an adult", I don't know how old the other commenter is, and it doesn't matter in this context. Also, there is a time limit to carry a crime or an immoral sin where if someone hasn't done anything similar, they are considered as repentant. It's crazy to hold someone accountable for something they stopped doing 20 years ago when it's not something as awful as murder.

Again. It's been 20 years, how do you know that he didn't grow up during all that time? A baby who was born at that day is by now a fully grown adult who may have children of their own. Also, you are misinformed, one of the assaults was a drunken bar fight between his group and a group of men, so not all his assaults were directed to women.

I wouldn't call myself a fan. I enjoyed some of the movies he was in, but I think it's silly to bring up his personal life in a fan article about his acting career. The writer of the post didn't say he was a nice guy with a super clean record, they were just listing his roles. Also, unless he is a rapist or a murderer, all can be forgiven, it's been 20 years, grow up, well ya? We are no saints either. Just because he is an actor doesn't mean he should be one. Bring it up when he does the same mistake again.

I guess because it's not their original work? It says here that it is produced by ENA. Maybe Amazon Prime only bought the right for some regions. ENA maybe planning to sell other regions' rights to another streaming service.

Very predictable, and quite unrealistic. You can figure out exactly what happened early on, and seriously after that it's just boring. Could've at least made up for the predictability with entertaining action scenes, great laughs and emotional drama, but I hardly seen any of those, and I hardly connected with any character, it's really hard to feel sorry for them.

Yeah, it's not available for all regions in Amazon Prime. Mine doesn't have it. I only found out about it because I follow Yun Kye Sang's dramas.

Yes, I only watched the first episode. I wasn't talking about the ex-girlfriend though. The one who got offended is the woman he was talking to in his brother-in-law's restaurant. She told him that she would feel offended if someone said he would protect her, and acted like that it was a given that the other woman got offended too, she said something similar about his new love-interest and that she probably found him controlling. She only told him that other women may feel different at the end of the episode, after making him overthink the situation for a few days. I know it's supposed to be obvious but she was acting like a know-it-all that even I believed her for a second.

It's an ugly side of extreme feminism, shaming "different" women for having a personality that doesn't match their perfect image of a strong independent woman. Self-conscious women, selfless women, women with low self-esteem, or even women who want to be loved or to be treated nicely get blamed for "dragging women down" instead of society.

Seeing the comments, I think it's going to be an open ending. That's why I'm considering dropping it. I like open endings but only if the journey is worth it, I don't like what I'm seeing now, so I don't believe it will be worth it.
On Turn to me Mukai-kun Oct 19, 2023
Just watched the first episode and I'm annoyed at every character in this drama. It's extremely feminist for my taste. Every person regardless of gender has needs to be fulfilled. Whether it's the need to feel protected or the need to protect someone, it's all valid, it's not supposed to offend anyone else that a person may need these things. If the male lead thought that if he loved someone he must protect them, he is allowed to do that, and he will find a woman who needs to feel protected because there are many. Every man in this drama thinks he must fulfil the needs of every woman on the planet, and that they must be an empty shell working to please their girlfriend/wife. The women in this drama, one is blaming a random guy she just met because he didn't treat another woman she didn't even meet like she would like to be treated, then at the end of the episode, she tells him that every woman is different. MAKE UP YOUR MIND, WOMAN! If every woman is different why assumed that woman would feel the same as you would?! The other woman, on the other hand, is so vein it's shocking, if what they said in the bar about what she actually felt is true, she is the simplest woman on the planet, liking a guy just because he told her she has a pretty face is something a kid would do, she is so easy to fool, it's so annoying. The sister on another level, she is living with her husband at her mother's place but asks her single brother (who is supposed to be there) to move out instead, and when he says "soon", she says "when is soon?" like he is the one who is supposed to leave not her, even though culturally it's the other way around, if you get married you move out, the single person is allowed to stay because he is their son, her husband isn't, so either she moves out or shut up and be grateful they allowed her to stay.

Title The Kidnapping Day Spoiler
Book smart, street smart and plain logic are so different Like ahjussi is the book smart, while hyeeun seemed…
I didn't watch the 10th episode yet, but I didn't get the vibe that he was book smart, he was just smart, because I don't think he had access to a lot books when he was a kid. Being super nice and having a lot of conscious can work against a smart person because they don't have the guts to use their brain on the streets in case they ended up hurting other people. Meanwhile, what you called street smart can be either her being "clever" or "cunning", and I think HyeEun is just cunning. You don't have to be smart to be cunning. She actually appeared so many times to be on the dumb side or lacking social skills or both, you can tell by the way she bluntly asked the kid to give up his adoption "because she needs it more", a smart person or a socially intelligent person would make the other person think it was their idea to give up their place for them. She also switched the papers without convincing the kid first, you are going to think if you are smart or at least have social skills that this could easily blow up on your face. Another thing is her keeping the CCTV footage, the only reason one would do that is to keep it as a trophy, and that is something a psychopath would do, but only because the pleasure of collecting trophies for them outweighs the sensible smart thing to do which is to get rid of them right away, even if she wasn't the murderer, that footage places her in the crime scene presumably at the time of the crime. Why would she keep it in an obvious place?

I asked because there are three characters with this ability. Two of them are supposedly main characters. But you don't have to clarify, I only asked which one because I was interested to know which one of them you didn't like. My answer to your question is still the same, Ryu Seung Ryong has the self-healing ability, and he has the character with the most scenes. The rest of characters have less screen time.

Which one of them do you mean? Either way, I don't think there was a main character, or there were multiple main characters. Each character is the focus at least once. If you have to point at a character for having the most scenes, Ryu Seung Ryong will probably be the one, and he is not the flying one.

Title The Kidnapping Day Spoiler
The fact that Seo Hye Eun was evil was obvious from the start, so there was no twist there, but I like the twist of Kim Myung Joon actually being smart, but too nice to use his brain for his own good. This kind of character is rarely represented in dramas, there are always the clever villain, the intelligent do-gooder who doesn't miss a thing, and the stupid nice common person. I like having this relatable character be represented. People can be both smart and stupid all at the same time.
On Strong Girl Nam Soon Oct 15, 2023
I tried to watch Strong Woman Do Bong Soon so many times but I was never able to finish the first episode. I thought it was silly and the characters are annoying. This one is much better so far. The action scenes are upgraded to feel a lot more natural. The family adds a lot more depth to the main female lead's character, and her personality is a lot better than the original. I'm glad I gave it a try despite not finishing the original.

That's what I said before I came across the webtoon. It's actually more enjoyable than you think. I don't like pets and I had no reason to be into this, but I liked it very much. Not sure about the drama though. It's only been 2 episodes.

I know she announced that she was taking a hiatus, but it was a hiatus in the middle of a hiatus, that's why I'm saying it didn't change anything. She was already not doing anything (as an actress) for a long while before the announcement.
About the plastic surgery, it might be that or the simplest explanation (as per Occam's razor) is just that she didn't do any. She obviously lost weight (in her entire body), so it's very likely that she lost some of the fat on her face as well. I'm not saying that I'm sure that she didn't do plastic surgery. I'm just saying that it's unfair to assume that she did when there is no evidence of it.
