Do you think the court lady is poisoning the queen in order to replace her? Even though she isn't the one serving her food, it's suspecious how everyone in her way to becoming a queen is always sick and dying.
The female lead is so stupid with so much confidence. This kind is like an active bomb to herself and everyone around her. I don't think she realizes how stupid she is or how weak her "strategies" are, because she gets magically saved every time her extremely bad ideas blow up in her face.
I enjoyed the first half, it became dull after that. Not many killings and it was focused more on the other characters. The oops I killed someone parts were really exciting and funny, reminded me of the first season of Fargo, wished it was all about that. I lost interest when it became like a job and the murders were happening in the background.
The revenge plot is just awful and pointless. The drama would've done better without. Why really? Either come up with a good reason for revenge or don't do it! It's all cliche anyways and no one is minding it, but to force all the cliches at once just for the sake of it, it's just bringing the drama down.
I'm also only halfway but I'm assuming the 'supernatural' part is how there are outside events that keep helping…
Yeah but even this is only explained at the end of the 4th episode. Before that you’d think he is just that lucky. Got to be careful when there’s only 8 episodes. The 4th episode in a 16-episode drama is not a spoiler but with only few episodes it is.
Good movie, but I heavily disliked the ending. Hyewon deserved better.
I don't think we knew her enough to judge if she deserved better. Of course no one deserves that ending. But I mean what good did she do to deserve a better ending than what was coming to her? We didn't even get a glimpse of her past life.
Very unlikable characters, it was hard to sympathize with any of them. Even the kids are annoying, and the supposedly nice nurse. It's surprising to me since I have no problem sympathizing with literally anyone. This movie didn't trigger any emotion from me except disgust. The CGI is bad. The story was somewhat enjoyable though. I wouldn't recommend it but I wouldn't recommend against it.
The experts are assuming that what women want is "specs". They thought the only reason not so many women chose the dentist with wealthy parents who own a hospital is that "women thought he wouldn't go for them". Meanwhile, the expressions on the women's faces were like "That's good for you. So what?". Those women aren't here to hire this guy, all he revealed is how wealthy and successful he is. This is nothing if you have a bad personality. Relying on these things to attract women will only attract women who are in it for the money.
You're right about Kim Myung Has, she should take revenge on him too. The king promised to save her but abandoned…
She knows his brother died at that time and he had to carry the weight of the nation on his shoulders. It would be very selfish to think that he would've had time for her.
Anything more than 10% can be considered as a good rating for a weekend dramas.
Ratings on tvN and other cable channels are different. Because it is not public, the ratings are lower. This is considered very high(One of their highest rated dramas).
You're right about Kim Myung Has, she should take revenge on him too. The king promised to save her but abandoned…
It doesn't matter. "Why didn't you fulfil your promise?" was the right next move. Not planning a dangerous scheme to take him down without even asking. Even if he answered "I couldn't", it would've been a good enough reason to not save them. The only wrong answer would've been "I wanted you dead" which is unlikely since she is still alive.
You're right about Kim Myung Has, she should take revenge on him too. The king promised to save her but abandoned…
Isn't taking revenge on someone because they were late on saving another a bit extreme? That shows a hateful unforgiving personality, which is not a good look on a main character who is presented as being wise and nice.
That's not the only reason... She is not only doing this for Hong jang and how he didn't saver her... You must…
Her friend dying wasn't a good enough reason to take revenge, he didn't kill her, he just didn't save her and he wasn't obligated to do that just because she asked him to. Myung Ha on the other hand was directly responsible for her friend's death. If anyone deserves revenge it's him. Edit: I just got your comment. She wasn't mad at him when her father left. She knew it was her father's wishes. Also, he did it for the king and not just him. He knew he was somewhat responsible for sending a spy and the prince had nothing to do with it. It was the right thing to do and is his choice. She heard their conversation.
Does anyone else really like the 2ML? I don't necessarily want him to be with the FL, but for once 2ML isn't overly…
I think he is very entitled and selfish. He thinks he owned the female lead the moment he saw her. I don't like his aggressiveness or the way he constantly threatens her. He is awful.
I don't seem to get the female lead's intentions, maybe because I keep zoning out in the middle of watching, but what I know is that she knows Kim Myung Ha was the one who framed her, but she joined hands with him? If not to betray him at the end, it's a weird move to make. The king didn't really do anything bad to her except that he failed to fulfil a promise to her which is understandable, meanwhile that awful second male lead was the one who deserves all of her anger but she is treating him like nothing has happened. If she is really planning revenge on the king then she is the foolish person ever. Not because it's dangerous and totally not worth it but also because he didn't do anything to deserve it.
P.S. The French guy was so rude. I could tell just by the way he knew only one woman picked him but looked elsewhere…
and the way he asked gives away his backwardness. He made it seem like it is a legitimate request to make to a partner to ask them to change their looks for him. In what world are we, if you have a personal preference towards a trait you can go for someone who has it. Don't go to a person who doesn't have it and ask them to change for you. That's very selfish and shows a lot of entitlement. He is assuming she realizes that he's worth the struggle when she doesn't even know him!
only fan subs someone already subbed ep 1 on Reddit
I wish I knew that before watching it raw. I googled it before watching but I don't trust links on Reddit. And apparently they posted it on the same airing date too :( Thanks for the info, I'll look it up next episode. I hope they will continue subbing.
This is a very weird show. Most men in this are awful! And to top that they are over evaluating themselves which…
P.S. The French guy was so rude. I could tell just by the way he knew only one woman picked him but looked elsewhere to check before going to the woman who picked him. Hey buddy, you are in no means a catch, you should be grateful someone actually picked you when no one else did and move on. She was too nice about it, it made me really sad, she seems like a great person and very pretty. She is a waste on him.
