Can I know why it didn't live up to your expectations. What disappointed you?
I've seen both of those dramas you mentioned. I'm not a big fan of Yang Zi so I don't have high expectations for her. I actually like her more after this drama.

I walked in with low expectations. After being disappointed by Royal Feast, nothing but low expectations from here. It makes the dramas way more enjoyable.
Any idea when will her parents find out about them dating? Can't wait to see their reaction, specially her dad.
I. CAN'T. WAIT. The #1 thing I've been waiting for...I've already envisioned how this will play out. Chaos. Trust. Imagine the doctor, who's also your neighbour, is PURSUING your daughter secretly? It's gonna be chaotic.
He also grew up in a household with two parents, and so did she, so they've witnessed a long-term marital relationship before. Of course, that doesn't make someone mature in a relationship, but it helps.
One of the best xianxia I've seen. And I've pretty much seen all the top ones. I wouldn't say the storytelling…
It’s better than ashes of love and almost as perfect as TMOPB. Trust me I didn’t want to watch this either. You need to be in the mood, but when you are, watch the first 12 episodes and I promise you won’t be able to stop.
i have read and heard that this drama is ridiculous in its story telling and all, but the rating seems pretty…
One of the best xianxia I've seen. And I've pretty much seen all the top ones. I wouldn't say the storytelling is ridiculous, it's unique. The female lead's character alone is enough to keep you watching. Just push through the first 12 episodes and things get crazy interesting. I was hooked and couldn't stop. It's confusing on the first watch too, but it'll all make sense in the end.

Not really if you watch the TV version's latest update. I watch both versions or whatever version has the latest content, so I've seen past that scene.
