Just watched episode 16, and Dr. Gu confesses while she's asleep. So...episode 17 must be the big confession episode, and episode 18 they start dating.

I'm actually excited for tomorrow's episode. I think having low expectations when you go into this drama will make it more enjoyable.

Their actions are annoying, but I love their scenes.

I've read other reviewers and commenters, who are at episode 34 complaining about the lack of plot and direction. I'm a seasoned drama watcher and understand stories quite well. A good show introduces the stakes very early. This is just my personal take. I decided to drop it!

Also the insta love is SUPER cringe to me. Insta love can work, sometimes, but I 1000% don't understand or believe how the FL likes the ML with barely no interactions. I don't buy into it whatsoever. That's why I don't believe the actors when they act like their characters have a crush on each other. There's no build up at all to make me believe they truly do. Bleh. So disappointed.

I'm on episode 8. I started watching as soon as it aired, but I might drop it. It's painfully slow. The interactions between the ML and FL are limited to 1-2 scenes per episode - which is strange since I'm pretty sure this is a romantic drama. The ML, Xu Kai has little to no screen time and his character is bland. The FL's makeup actually bothers me, a lot. They made her look old. She's a very young actress who's wearing an extremely matte, pallid foundation that is washing her out against the costumes and colour grading of the show. It makes her acting less convincing. The cooking is cool, but the plot is nonexistent. Like what are the stakes for our leads? Why haven't the stakes been introduced in episode 1 like a good story does? Even episode 2 would have been okay. There's no plot outside of the side characters' dramatic backstories.

I think it's 2 episodes for VIP.

Viki is notoriously slow. They probably don't want to get bombarded with "where are the English/Spanish" subs on every episode, so they're waiting until everything is subbed to post.

Daily episodes are a lot, especially since they need to be subbed. But on WETV Vip it's 2 episodes per day.

Thank goodness this is airing on WETV because I cannot handle another case of crummy subs, like we got for Royal Feast.

Bro it might happen...TOOL was true! I will have zero social life if all these dramas air at the same time. Lol.

Bruhhh update the official date and start a countdown on this page. Honestly until this show actually airs in 2 days will I believe it's coming out. We know what happened last time.
