This was really good. I waited too long to watch it, but it was worth it. I had a lot of fun watching it (really good pacing) and I can see myself rewatching it down the road.
This is gonna be my first time watching a xiao zhan drama hes rlly handsome in the trailer ngl would love to see…
The Untamed is one of the best c-dramas out there. Ignore the plot summary on kisskh, just get to episode 3. It'll be more interesting than OOL, that's for sure.
The leads don't die, but some of the side characters do. The ending is bittersweet, because in the end, the main couple can't "own" their love in the way they planned.
She married her master for real. The emperor doesn't ever fall in love with her. That's his best friend's girl,…
Technically she married her master first, lol, but then something bad happened, of course. And he made the decision to make her a consort in name, temporarily. But really he was just pushing her away because he knew he was dying and he kept it a secret from her.
It's worth watching. You won't be disappointed and left unsatisfied by the romance in the end, because they do end up together and they don't die. But, there is sadness with the other couples in the show, and it is sad that they can't be married and live on the sea like they wanted to.
They do end up together, though. They get married and get a house. It's just that after they do those things, duty becomes more important than settling down.
The way the show ends is very cryptic, but it suggests that the ML and FL will live a long and peaceful life, and will always love each other. It ends with the ML catching a crane feather, which symbolizes everlasting love, good health and longevity. This is in contrast to episode 6 when he wasn't able to catch the feather.
it's been a few minutes since I finished the drama and just now I realized the following thing: Haishi came back…
And isn't it funny how it feels like they are back to their roles at the start of the show? She's just a woman who is being used to save her country, and he's just a Baixi who's hiding his identity.

I'm actually speechless. This is such an amazing connection.
