This is what I was wondering too. The whole family are acting as if she was lost at the amusement park. Not packed her own bag, as an adult woman & walked out the door to pursue her dreams. Unless she was hit by the white truck of doom crossing the road & lost her memory, she cruelly cut off her entire family to fulfil her own desires & never looked back. As you say, they’ve remained in the same house all this time. If she wanted to see them, she would have. If someone recognises her from the campaign and calls to report it, any contact made is being forced upon her. She’s not choosing to return because she misses them or has a sense of responsibility. She’ll basically be shamed/guilted into it. Everyone asking KS if he’s willing to pick up the pieces and go on as if she never abandoned them is overlooking the fact that she left them. Hang on, wasn’t there something about KS keeping the truth behind her leaving a secret from the family? So what do they think happened? Do they actually think she argued with KS, went out and got lost? If so, that’s pretty harsh of him. It would be kinder to tell them that she abandoned/turned her back on them, than have them imagining all the worst case scenarios. I guess he did that because of the trauma he carries from being abandoned as a baby/child & wanted to protect the family from the same, but as a mum I’d rather know my child was just a selfish brat chasing their dreams, not giving a damn about me or anyone else, but alive, than having to think something terrible may have happened to them.

I guess the older Devious Dong is trying to use Chairman Grandpas fear of the company being damaged by any hint of scandal to push this never-gonna-happen marriage through. But why would people gossip about MR & Little Dong not getting married yet when they’ve only been dating for a minute and there hasn’t even been an official engagement announcement? Plus he says people will gossip if they keep putting the wedding off, but there’s no wedding planned & Jnr Jerkface Dong hasn’t even been approved of. It won’t matter anyway, as MR won’t marry that sneering elitist cheater, even if they book a venue, buy her a white frock, hire the caterers, send out invitations and print an announcement in the company’s newsletter. That loser already lost. His dad must be panicked because he can see his loser son fumbling the ball due to his hubris. ( I liked it when the arrogant twat told his dad that he couldn’t understand KS giving up a position in the company to find his long lost wife & president Dong just dissed him with “you wouldn’t”, looking at him like he’s incapable of human emotion. Oddly enough, Dong Snr also seems to have the emotional range of an automated vacuum)

I assume it’s around the same time frame everywhere. She should have finished that long ago. What else could she be studying? I guess she must have just been taking improv classes at her local community centre between escort jobs. Her dream of being an actress is as pie in the sky as SJ (missing wife/mum) going off at 25 after not dancing since having JD to become a professional ballerina.

Yeah it didn’t make sense that she’d be threatened by pics of her with JH as she’d only benefit from those and only JH would be affected if they were exposed (which I’m sure you mentioned before)

If I see the camera zoom in on some foot that looks like JD’s portrait, or even worse, just a normal foot, I’ll probably still be laughing when I die in 50+ years

Sadly I missed out her hallux valgus deformity, ganglion cysts, claw toes and heel spurs. Hopefully there’s a next time🤞

If YJ is SJ, I wonder how KS will see her feet to recognise her. Will there be an accident that causes her to be barefoot? Will she come to MR/Chairman’s home while he’s there and remove her heels at the door in front of him? Will Dong Senior decide to send a photo of her foot bunions to KS to get her out of JH’s hair? Or will SS get hold of photos of YJ & JH in bed and show them to KS who’ll only focus on the corns on the twisted feet sticking out from the sheets? Will JD be the one to shove her over while protecting MR, only to reveal her knobbly callused toes? I hope it’s the end scene on a Friday & everyone’s face goes 😳😮🫢

Oh thanks for reaffirming that. I was sure I’d heard him say something about her moving into his apartment after her divorce. That’s why I was so stunned when she let SD move in, not only to the apartment but HS bedroom. But then she treats him like a servant in his own home already. When he’s not there to tidy up, there’s clothes and food packaging all over the living room. I think that’s another thing she finds so attractive about KS, she imagines he’d do all the housework and wait on her hand & foot like the overgrown baby Princess she thinks she is.

Yeah JH all of a sudden realising he has feelings for MR rings hollow. The only time he’s reacted to her with anything but bored eye rolling or smug sneering behind her back was when she wore HR’s trashy red dress. He responded to that like the leech he is. Any feelings he’s catching now, be it from enjoying her devotion toward him or getting off on how gullible she is & easy for him to manipulate, it’s not love and it’s too late. I don’t care if he regrets losing her, because I don’t believe he has a genuine bone in his body. He has an ego the size of the sun and any feelings he has for MR are just the result of his ego being massaged. He likes that, not MR herself.

Right! They are both so embarrassing & immature acting. I don’t know what I dislike more though, the fact they act like lovesick spoiled teens or that they are both the most unprofessional bosses, using their businesses as dating opportunities. The former makes me cringe the latter makes me angry.

Ding Dong yet again indulging in some workplace harassment. Throwing another tantrum because her employee doesn’t understand her feelings.
Love how Little Dongs stupid face went from smug self satisfaction in the beginning of the episode to barely being able to conceal his disdain despite putting on a show of acceptance for the sake of the company at the end. He was sooo pissed off. He really only has three expressions, the wide eyed “trust me” look he uses on MR & her mum, the smug smirk for when he’s plotting or thinks he’s winning and the lip curled snarl he uses when his mask slips. Dude is a cartoon villain and will fail just as spectacularly as they usually do, undoubtedly being thwarted by his own hand, we just have to put up with him twirling his moustache & patting his hairless kitty for a while though.
SD & HR were unwatchable yet again. HR doodling love hearts & initials, then bouncing up & down, squealing with glee like a child who just got told she can have a pony was too much for me to take. I don’t even know what else SD said after that as I was busy fighting my nausea. But looks like he asked for his allowance and gave her a useless tip to bribe JD.
Speaking of JD, her scene was great because it involved my MVP character, JP. If they’re going to only give us snippets of the leads and concentrate on other characters, I’d like more JP, less Dongs (all 3 of them), SD & HR please show.

Same. As soon as they mentioned “premium” & “high quality abalone” I laughed because its obviously a flop. Their instant porridge already has problems selling. Turning it into a “premium “ range to appeal to other snobs like JH leaves them with a very small portion of the market to sell it to and regular customers will be priced out. How have they not done any market research to know that most shoppers consider cost when doing their groceries? That the wealthy people they’re catering for aren’t the ones who eat instant foods? How on earth is this a successful food company? I’m embarrassed for them all with their rubbish product development & market research skills

I hope MiL says something to MR. I’m tired of JH’s mask slipping in front of everyone but MR & her family and him getting away with his deception. He’s so revolting. Him gaslighting MR into forgetting her past and giving up on finding her father by playing the “your Mother will be so hurt” card was really mean. Then getting so angry about porridge he goes & shirtfronts KS. Little weasel. If KS wasn’t such a nice guy, he’d easily knock that weak pampered rich kid off his feet with one shove. Even his porridge idea annoys me. It’s instant porridge that’s meant to appeal to current customers and expand their market, not just focus on what will appeal to wealthier people who want “Premium” ingredients. Fancier higher grade ingredients will mean a price hike, so it will have a smaller market. That doesn’t sound like what the Chairman wanted or a good way to revamp a failing product. Such a poseur flop. Sorry for the rant, obviously he’s pushing my irritation buttons

Maybe along with the face & name change, she got herself a whole new identity so she doesn’t need a divorce to nab JH. Who knows? I’m too unsure to take a guess either way. It does seem odd we haven’t seen or heard a hint of the mother’s return, yet they’ve teased us with Yoo Jin from the beginning by filming her from the back or such for previews so we’re asking “who’s that he’s (JH) meeting?”

The only way Yoo Jin is the missing/abscondee wife is if she had a massive accident that resulted in her needing full facial reconstruction like the mum from A Young Lady & A Gentleman & she changed her name to hide her identity from her family who did nothing but love & support her. Tbh, the change in actress for the mother works for this scenario because Yoo Jin does look like she’s spent a fair amount of time at the “Dermatology/Beauty” Clinic having her face (& chest) pumped full of whatever’s on offer.
If she changed her name and never bothered to contact her family despite returning to Korea, she’s probably shameless enough to parade about in front of her old friends with her new face, not worrying they’d recognise her voice or anything.

Ahhh, yes! This is the solution. Take JD out of the academy & have MR privately tutor her, along with JP. I hope the writers are as sensible as you (haha what am I talking about? They’re obviously not sane)
