Xu Kai was so much more handsome in this drama. He's lost too much weight unfortunately now a days. Hopefully, he'll realize that, and gain back some weight and be as handsome as before like in this drama...

Liu Yi Fei has lost quite a bit of weight in The Story Of Rose compared to the other 2 dramas since her return and I must say she looks gorgeous...i only skimmed the 1st episode. She looks younger than when she looked in those 2 later dramas that she did since her return. She is a ratings queen in China. The only bad about LYF's look is her front teeth that needs work. Other than that, I'd say compared to how the 2 look ZLY and LYF, i would say LYF is the prettier one of the 2...As far as the acting, maybe ZLY is a bit better...but like many had already said, both of them are equally talented in their way and very successful actresses in China. Internationally, LYF has worked inDisney, so she's surely the winner of the 2 😁 so i don't understand Arya why you have so much hate for LYF... I like them both

@Yarya: Who is LGX? I like both actresses. LYF was so pretty when she did the drama with Hu Ge. I was looking for her dramas after I saw that...Then she stopped doing dramas for so many years. However, I am very surprised after she came back, she's been very very popular with her dramas that she's done since her coming back to China. All of her dramas that she's filmed and released have been a hit in China! So, in this regards, she's like ZLY...so they both seem to be a drama queen to me. That's how she (LYF) has paved the way for stars who have paused and are back like Liu Shi Shi and Stephanie Tang(?) I think that's her name. And maybe Wallace Huo who also might be making a come back as well. You can say Wallace Huo can't act either. I used to think he was very handsome in ancient dramas but not so in modern dramas.

No @Draco, when Xu Kai was a model, he was never as skinny as he's now. He was at the weight when he filmed in Falling Into Your Smile when he filmed the outside scene of going together with the FL to buy a couple of fish. I've followed his career from the beginning and have seen lots of his clips if not all :D. Anyway, I just wished that Xu Kai will be well and not ever become an anorexia. He definitely doesn't look good right now because he's lost so much weight. I am not related to kaddie001, in fact, this is the time that I've ever interacted with her. I don't need insults from anybody when I'm speaking out the truth and it's out of concern for Xu Kai. In speaking out, I thought that I could bring the attention to someone who's close to him and can rely this message to Xu Kai. Xu Kai was looking good (well not as in the older dramas, but even dramas up till SAF #6; quite of bit in BCE and also in ABAY). He's too thin right now and should eat more, at least maintain the same weight he had when he did the special events at Tencent. He really looked quite good at the night events of Tencent's night, the night on which he had a flowering shirt on and dark blue/black jacket and dark pants. That's why I said in the Moonlight Reunion page that he may have gotten bad influence from Wei Xaio?? or whatever her name is, because the FL of Moonlight also has lost quite a bit of weight during the filming of this dram which started in the beginning of this year.

I don't think its because of work. Rather its because he is listening to his critcs without a conviction of what he really is or want to be. I think he needs a girl friend who really looks after his benefits and somehow guide him and he being happy could help. If you look at him towards the end of 2022 when he was dating his coworker, he gained a few pounds back and he really looked very good then. Last year towards end of 2023 and in the filming of WOL, Jing Tian had a good influence on him, encouraginghim, so he was looking very good at those times (events at Tencent, when he collaborated with Jing Tian and in WOL). He's a weak emotional person from what i can observe, needs good guidance to let him what's best for him.
