They just denied for their popularity protection. His behavior towards Bailu is different. There was a clip where Bailu doesn't drink wine and she gave her glass to XuKai, etc.But of course it's my personal belief so it doesn't matter to anybody. I don't find XuKai's mandarin having Cantonese accent...I'd say his mandarin is more like Taiwan's mandarin. The Mandarin from China, they roll their tongues for the R sound, like ER, (like Spanish)...I myself speak Cantonese so I'm quite familiar with Cantonese speaking people talking mandarin 😁. Xu Kai's mandarin doesn't sound like some of my friends talking mandarin.

Thank you for the excerpts! They were good reads! I don't question any of those stories except for one which relates to the comments about him and Bailu. My conclusion after watching all the BTS and some private clips between the 2 of them is that indeed they were real couples. I won't revert on this opinion unless either one negates it to me😁 directly hahaha

Nothing it's more away from the truth. Gu He was somewhat handsome before his accident 😏. Let me correct myself, yes when Hu Ge did that drama he was cute for tgat period in time. To tell you the truth, Hu Ge wasn't that good of an actor at that time either. Xu Kai is definitely more handsome even compared to Hu Ge's best looking's time that he was at...my personal taste of course. I like small face, his face is not round but just perfect when he had at the weight when he did The Legends. Xu Kai has the best proportions, like head/face and his body. He's too tgin now. His proprtions are like drawings in the comics book, perfect to me...most of the people, have their heads too big...Hu Ge, Wang Kai, etc. He looks better with a fuller cheeks than what he's at now...

When i watched The story of Yanxi Palace, Xu Kai's character was the one I followed most...of course it was his looks that had interested me most, and tge story line it had between his CP with Wu Jin-Yi i think thats how it's spelled. He did a very good job and I thought he acted excellently...i did see some comments about his acting skills being raw but I didn't see why it was said so. BTW, the link above doesn't talk about his beginning but rather it's about some fan's experience on Xu Kai's works, how she got into his work :) Nevertheless, thanks for the info. I thought he was very grateful to the lady partner of his agency in the very first years of 2018-2019 clips that I saw on YouTube, like a 60 minutes or so when Tencent threw in a party for a fans gathering on his birthday in 2019. That was a good watch. He was sooo handsome in there.

This drama is entertaining if you take it as it is, a drama, which is based on a prototype of a quite typical Chinese family that wants to strive to a better position per the FL's mom's perspective. I liked it because the drama has its humor's side, its touching side as well, so it's a well balance drama. If however, you're like to some of the audience who can't get the why/how the FL's mom acts, and get too uncomfortable or angry with her behavior; then, this might not be your cup of tea. I loved the chemistry between the leads both the main leads and the 2nd pair.

Nirvana on Fire is a classic of China's dramas ( the one from Hu Ge, is what Iam saying, i couldnt finish the S2's one with Huag Xiao Meng, i think thats his name, can't remember it now) so I've been a fan if Hu Ge since ever but that drama is sooo good!!!because it has lots of twists and many other dramas after that tried to imitate it.

Wang Kai got to the fame through Nirvana On Fire S1. He was quite handsome then and a very good actor. Now, not so much (handsome, as he's aged and he's too thin, and it's showing such a big head relating to his body :D ). I became a fan of his from that drama...and of course Leo Wu (a teenager then). Both (XK and WK) have Kais as their first names :D. I did watch Flying Into You. It was an OK drama for me.

Actually, it was her mom's interference that precipitated the breakup...remember that her mom went to her Ex's house and because she was humiliated, that was the reason, the FL broke up with them eventually...Prior to her mom going to her Ex's home, the FL told her Ex, let's just give ourselves some time.

I like the actor who did the role as the assistant to YZM, Ah Dong. He's really a funny guy in real life and he is a very eloquent guy. I'd like him to be in a variety show with Xu Kai to help him as well!

I hope Yang Mi will be there because Yang Mi attracts lots of audience. Peng Peng won't be there...the dynamic scaredy cats between Xu Kai and Peng Peng...will be missing some funs though
