If you want to be popular, fan base is the most important thing. Actors make their monies more on endorsements than anything else. Do you think a product would ask an actor to endorse someone who has 10 M or someone like Xiao Zhan who has 80M??? Common logic!

Xu Kai got quite a bit of more screen time after ep 16 or so...for those of you who had dropped the drama or had fast forwarded, you probably didn’t notice. I thought Xu Kai did even better in the 2nd half and he was much more handsome in there as he seemed to have gained a pound or two during such time. It was after ep 16 is when the FL had dropped her ex boyfriend and things started to develop between the leads so Xu Kai got more screen time from there on.

Agreed, its really none of my business anything related to an actor's private life as they're human too...They just entertain us with their roles in whatever they do, whether its with their acting, or singing, etc. I'm just talking on the looks they have on screen mainly. However because I am a fan of say for instance of Xu Kai, I'd like him to do well and maximize his success. There are sooo many actors in China and I see that fame doesn't last too long for the actors and that they should cease their moment to take those opportunities...so i don't think it'd help for instance that look for him and thus I'm expressing my concerns about that...that's all🙂. He needes to increase his fans base with smart deeds not putting off new fans...that would be a smarter thing to do.

I think Johnny Depp is ugly, I don't like him...I don't think I am a fan of any of the American actors. However, that look of Xukai in that picture looks dirty and ugly of course. I like clean cut men!

Well he may have his dream fulfilled coz rumor has it that they're trying to get Huang Jing Yu (Johnny Huang) as the other ML. We'll see.

It was dubbed by himself. I think all dramas are dubbed many times by the same actors but no recordings alive with their voices during their filiming.

@whoissilmoy, I don't think Xu Kai has a Cantonese accent when he speaks Mandarin. Just that his is not the BeiJing's (China's accent). His dubbing in BCE has really improved compared to SAHPH. I can differentiate Taiwan's mandarin vs China's mandarin.
