@whoissilmoy, I don't think Xu Kai has a Cantonese accent when he speaks Mandarin. Just that his is not the BeiJing's (China's accent). His dubbing in BCE has really improved compared to SAHPH. I can differentiate Taiwan's mandarin vs China's mandarin.

They just denied for their popularity protection. His behavior towards Bailu is different. There was a clip where Bailu doesn't drink wine and she gave her glass to XuKai, etc.But of course it's my personal belief so it doesn't matter to anybody. Hopefully they can find their own happiness either together or separately.

I don't find XuKai's mandarin having Cantonese accent...I'd say his mandarin is more like Taiwan's mandarin. The Mandarin from China, they roll their tongues for the R sound, like ER, (like Spanish)...I myself speak Cantonese so I'm quite familiar with Cantonese speaking people talking mandarin 😁. Xu Kai's mandarin doesn't sound like some of my friends talking mandarin.

Thank you for the excerpts! They were good reads! I don't question any of those stories except for one which relates to the comments about him and Bailu. My conclusion after watching all the BTS and some private clips between the 2 of them is that indeed they were real couples. I won't revert on this opinion unless either one negates it to me😁 directly hahaha
