I have a feeling this will be very touching. However I wish they looked a bit more 80's like, especially the girl,I…
Are you talking about her look in the teaser?? Bcs i think they opted for more flashy makeup and style for the first teaser. Bcs from her still cuts , her makeup and fashion seem to be aligned with the 80's.In fact, she wears very minimal makeup to match her character.
I came back here after comparing the versions from Netflix vs Viu. As usual, I’m disappointed with the Netflix…
Yeah. They also cut dajung doing blackpink dance and daeyoung singing to an old song whilst fixing washing machine before he picked up his children. Netflix even changed the background songs for many iconic comedic scenes. I understand it was due to copyright but they should at least perfected the sub.
no omg, thats such a big age gap... where did all the young actresses vanish???
Right?? Other than Kim So Hyun, Kim Yoo Jung and Moon Ga Young, is there any other actresses in their 20s that are leading lady material??
I hope they give chance to young actresses in their 20s like they did with their counterparts actors. We will get much more age appropriate couples if thats the case.
I actually do not have any problems with the age gap . Lee Dohyun already proved himself in 18 again that he had no problem creating chemistry with veteran actress decades older than him. Its the setup that screams problematic. I hope it's not actually a student-teacher relationship as the vague synopsis reveals. I believe there's more to the story, since they didn't describe it as a typical romance genre but emphasizes a scandal that leads to corruption ?
so yeah. If this actually tackles the dark-heavy-corruption theme, I am definitely onboard.
I agree he's literally the best among the all rookie actors I've seen so far he can act a very very diverse role…
I kinda want to see him in dark/crime/psychological thriller . I think he'd do great since he also expressed his desire to star in one. But I also want him to try melodrama bcs he's immaculate and excellent in emotional scenes. Rom-com isnt my go to genre but I believe he'd do so well bcs that kind of role is the closest to his real life crackhead personality. lmaoo
Honestly , just cast him in everything, I'd watch hahaha

Have to agree about the chemistry part. He even had chemistry with dajung's best friend hahha. Thats how intense he is. I dont watch HDL bcs it'a not my genre but I remember ppl were gushing about his chemistry with IU eventhough his screen time was limited ( I didn't know him at tht time, only heard some talk about a rookie actor)
The relationship 's development and interactions between the two male leads were kinda lacking making their actions and decisions at the last act felt a bit random and unconvincing.

Lee Do Hyun will definitely be over the moon if he reads your overwhelming praises on his acting haha. Anyway, I am gonna be honest and express my disagreement on him joining princess hours remake. Precisely because he has so much versatility and nuances in his acting, I personally feel like taking up Lee Shin role would be a waste of his talents. Eventhough he actually does give off jun ji hoon vibe.
Nevertheless, no one cares about my opinion so there's that :D
Seo In Guk is sooooo perfect for the role. He has that look on his eyes that makes me wanna hug him tight.
He does. His screen presence in this drama is immaculate. I actually planned to drop this halfway after I learned about the ending but ended up completing it still because I was so engrossed and captivated by his character.

Still enjoyed it tho.
