Epi 8 just hits different . so much emotions

same here.I actually prefer the chemistry between lee do hyun and kim ha neul more than the younger actress. it felt more raw and sizzling

it's okay . Totally understand. A drama isn't supposed to be detrimental to your mentah health. I think you can skip it 😄

hahha the first half wasn't all that devastating personally. It's not sad all the timee 😅

I thought i was the only one who felt this. Have to agree the chemistry is lacking eventhough they are both such pretty human beings.

Even the slomo when she tripped doesn't help. It feels off.

However, everything else is fine. The actings, plot and storyline did deliver so i think maybe the chemistry will develop once their dynamic changes

so far so good . It delivered what it promised to.

anyway, a bit suprised that we are already two episode in but Lee Sang Yi's character is nowhere to be found.

The main characters' personality are kinda dry and hollow. I dropped it at epi 5/6 so cant really comment on the ending .

I did however remember struggling to stay awake everytime I watch the drama. I know some people loved the slow whatever vibe they were going for, but i was not a fan of it. They need to at least serve substantial plotlines and interesting characters for me to get on board with the vibe. Otherwise, it's just a snoozefest

This drama has an early melo kdramas' vibe. Nothing groundbreaking but gives off nostalgic ambience. I enjoyed it although the last two episodes weren't as solid as the rest of episodes.

dont worry she will come around. She made mistakes and bad choices but she's not a bad person nor bad friend by no means.

No the show did not have love triangle.

The 2nd ML liked the female lead but quickly gave up when he learnt that she liked the male lead.

The first part wasn't all that sad and actually full of sweet moments and laughters. Middle is a little bit depressing . Final act is heavy . Mostly because it was tied to real historical event. The ending was difficult to swallow but fitting

this drama hasn't even started airing yet . how do you came so far to conclude that it's centered about " love transcends age" ?? . This drama obviously centered around prefential treatment and school curruption like all the synopsis suggested. The first synopsis even mentioned about them meeting again after he turns adult and embroiled in whirldwind of events and corruption , not teacher/student relationship. Maybe he will have some sort of crush on her during his school days before things got serious after he becomes adult but thats obviously not the main focus .

also his next drama after Melancholia is action thriller so he's indeed challenging himself in all type of genres and complex characters.

Historical dramas are rare these days maybe he'd do one someday. He is still just starting he would have many more opportunities.

A versatile actress that suits variety of genres . Hoping for more leading roles for her.

Clearly there's something about this drama that made him chose this one. His female counterpart is an award winning veteran Im soo Jung. An experienced movie actress who only did severaldramas in her long career. All dramas that she did were also rated highly here .

I am just saying there were clearly reasons why they picked this project.

Also his recently completed project was Youth of may. He played alongside same aged actress Go minsi. So
yeahh no. He wasn't always paired with older actresses.

Lee Do Hyun is a 26-year-old adult and a professional actor. Stop treating him like he's a child. His job is to act. Alongside older or younger actors/actresses. In variety of genres.

His dramas are all interesting tho ?? They are so diverse in genres and characterizations. what are you on about ?? 18 again is basically a family mending genre drama about a 37 year-old husband/father who finds himself back in his 18 year-old self. Of course he would be paired with older female character. Thats the narrative and premise of the drama. He even won prestigious baeksang with that.

Just because he refused to do cliché webtoon school romance adaptation and opted for complex characters alongside veteran female actresses doesn't make his dramas uninteresting. You can go to his profile and see that most of his dramas were rated high on mdl so clearly ppl found them interesting enough.

If you don't like the drama he chose to do, then just move on and find other dramas that suit your taste.

Also, this drama is still long before broadcast but the comments made it seem like the drama is already completed
