chief ning is probably one of the more low key but high key feminist characters I’ve ever seen. he defends her autonomy when she’s not there to hear, he recognizes her right to have her own secrets and freedom, recognizes her struggles as a woman and recognizes her strength.

my absolute favourite top tier communication moment of these two was when they paused their relationship to figure out what to do next when they realized they both had different dreams. And then they both said that taking a step back “is the highest respect” they can give to their relationship. are you kidding me??😭😭 how insanely cute, mature, perfect is that??

I’m happy to hear that because I watched a few episodes and I thought it was cohesive and solid but the comment section influenced me to put it on hold because of the ending. I didn’t know they were mad at a censorship ending. When will people realize that those are there to be ignored. I’m definitely watching it after AJTL
