the ml picture in the cast section is making this age gap extra uncomfortable. that's a child. edit: he's actually a child the picture is not old. wtf??
I’ve never rated a drama based solely on the ending. Movie yes, but drama no. The whole production and effort to create a story that holds for a whole season is more important than the ending. The ride is what counts to me, also most chinese dramas are subject to so much editing and modification due to censorship that I know not to judge too harshly if its it ends weirdly. this drama is excellent
words can not describe how excellent this drama is. the cast is just perfect, they know how to act and they couldn't have chosen better faces, they all suit their character. the writing is just right, always leaving you on your toes; i'm a skipper and I didn't skip a single scene. The cinematography, costume and set design is THE best that has ever come out in recent years. The 8.7 rating is a shame. This should be in the 9s,
question: if you were in xu qin's shoes would you also have left him. Me, personally I would have, he was really a bum, I can't give up my financial security for a relationship.
Some of us enjoy watching the song and dance. If the leads got together in 2 episodes, we'd spend the rest of…
but you're complaining about something that is intentional... the slow burn and back and forth banter is the whole point of the drama. it's like complaining about getting pizza when going to a pizzeria. you can't complain at a place you don't want to be. the drama is just not catered to your taste and its ok.
the way they argue is so realistic. the self sabotage, the self preservation, the way they don't hear each other, how one party is more emotional and idealistic and the other is conservative and rational.. but also how there's a deep yearning in their arguments. so interesting
edit: he's actually a child the picture is not old. wtf??
