in episode 10 I thought it confirmed mutual feelings with the kiss, holding hands and date to the dance but then in episode 13 Dan said that he did/does have feelings for a woman....there are definitely several queer characters but there was not a happily ever after with any of them
I liked ep 1 more than Pit Babe though I'm also enjoying Pit Babe because everyone in that cast is handsome AF…
yes iQIYI subtitles are known to be not good and it's sad because it does at times negatively impact the series (as an example a character appears to say something nonsensical, however it did actually make sense but was not translated well) - I think both Pit Babe and The Sign would make good binges but I'll keep watching weekly because I have very little self control when it comes to watching BL haha
I think this should have the gay romance tag. Although the romance is subtle it's definitely there. Haru says Aki has cute hands/he likes them. Aki gets jealous when he thinks Haru has a girlfriend. There are zero girlfriends/female love interests. They both want to spend their lives together. Haru tries to confess "I'm in (love with you)" but Aki interrupts. And then that forehead press at the end (oh and the drunk cuddle earlier).
I don’t understand why they’re making jade so cringy… wasn’t he supposed to be more shy and not noticeable…
I haven't read the book but I heard Jade was more like Adachi from Cherry Magic or Guy in My Dear Gangster Oppa...the creators are definitely going for a comedy but this style isn't working for me
Can’t you just watch something for fun? This series isn’t that serious to begin with. Watch it completely…
By your logic, you should wait to critique my review until after I have finished the series/the review. I always do a first impression review, then sometimes I update it along the way but then I always do a final review. It's a busy BL release day so I'll watch the final 2 episodes and update my review in the next few days. Also just because a series is consistent with its trailer doesn't mean everyone thinks the series is good/enjoys it. Consistency does not always equate enjoyment.
