Yes, I also subscribe to several streaming services and also I rotate thru other ones. There are normally good deals for streaming on Black Friday after Thanksgiving so I get a couple then.

Speaking from personal experience, no, not every relationship has communication problems. Because this is fiction, I allow for some poor communication but when it's egregious then it pulls me out of the fantasy. Diao saw his fiancee of 3 years talking to a female client and assumed he was cheating??? He never talks to Yi who he's known for 14 years??? With the security cameras/guards it definitely felt like they were there to keep tabs on Diao/prevent him from leaving. If they had shown a scene where Diao wanted to go grocery shopping alone and Yi said he had to take the guards for safety then things would have made more sense. But screenwriters shouldn't assume viewers have read the book.

that could definitely be a factor, I think I liked both couples in the original about the same but for different reasons (Tutor/Fighter and their love/hate/steamy stuff and Saifah/Zon for their cuteness)

people have different life experiences and traumas, a kick might not bother some people but might be really triggering for others. I realize I likely include content warnings that trigger no one and I likely don't include content warnings that might trigger others but I'm trying to be helpful

yes King's brother just randomly appeared in ep 10, it was very odd

episode 1 differences in the uncut version, more/longer at the beginning, 23-28 flashback with boyfriend and showing a dream house drawing, 37-44 longer post break up scene ripping up the drawing, drinking, getting assaulted by a rando outside the club, longer crying/driving sequence, 47-51 being discovered by Ming, mom and son talking, 52-54 asked Ming to use his phone, more at the market scenes

they didn't have any of the three couples interact in episode 3 until 10 of 30 minutes!!! I know who likes who but it definitely took major effort
