At this point the entire story is a brainless joke lmao, I was hoping it would be better but with only 2 more eps left to air, it's just ridiculously funny.

Falling Into Your Smile came out around the time this article was written, I'm sure it would have made the e-sports…
Hi, it takes around three months for an article to get published. I finished this article early March of 2021. Editorials take a long time to edit. I loved FIYS but it hadn’t aired when I wrapped up writing the article.

Really loved this. I appreciated LBFAD more because of you. I was shocked when I read about the 4yrs of production…
Thanks so much for reading! Glad you enjoyed my review❤️❤️

Dylan and Esther were not huge stars before LBFAD. I mean, Esther was a famous singer, and Dylan was mostly known for his role in 2018's Meteor Garden but it was nothing big. I've never really thought of them as that 'good' of actors. I did really enjoy Esther's Moonlight, though. Ironically, two of Dylan Wang's previous dramas that I watched, Meteor Garden and Miss the Dragon, both received very bad ratings for me. (4.0 and 6.5 are bad in my standards) But like you said, their character swaps were amazing and executed flawlessly. Acting was on point, and comedy was added to.

I haven't watched a Kdrama in almost a year LOL. Maybe I'll start again, but I realized that I've never written a review for one! Something that I probably should set a goal towards.

Review Immortal Samsara: Part 2 Spoiler
Exactly. Skipping important scenes and filling the spaces with absolute rubbish. LOL. I found myself bored as…
It's also pretty funny to think that Yu Mo is the only 'main' character to survive until the very end...if you look at one of the posters with the more important characters, he's the only one still alive lol.

you voiced every frustration i have with this drama! first part is good, i like the start. then after mortal arc…
Exactly. Skipping important scenes and filling the spaces with absolute rubbish. LOL. I found myself bored as heck, but was dumbly hopeful of something 'good' happening towards the end of the drama. Too much was focused on Yu Mo's love towards Yan Dan and not enough on himself as the sole descendent of the Nine Fins Clan. I would've liked to see more of him rising to power to help others, not specifically the Four Seas, but become an even more powerful role model for the demons and unite all of them together. All we saw at the end was a crying Yu Mo, devastated that his friends were gone.

The ending was bad to say the least. I honestly was just hoping it would end quickly but I didn't mean ending in 2 minutes! The last episode, in fact, was way too rushed and confusing. Others can say all they want about 'oh don't worry, there are 2 more eps' but me? I'm done with this drama lol. 'Happy' ending or not, I've learned that I should drop a drama quickly before I get too invested and hopeful.

Thanks for reading the review!

The immortal arc was still good but the mortal arc was god pure torture like it was hell!!! I literally was forcing…
Totally. I was looking forward to every new airing episode of the Immortal Arc, but as you said, the Mortal Arc was terrible in every aspect, draggy, filled with unnecessary side stories with characters I did not particularly like, etc. Part 1's 8.4 is just because Yang Zi and Cheng Yi fans rated the drama so high, but the drama itself is a huge disappointment imho.

LOL thank you! I was pretty proud of the title as well. They kept mentioning the agarwood burning and such to…
Yup. Totally didn't know what the flying heck was happening in the drama. I once wrote about that once in a comment under the drama and got attacked so hard lol.

wow i have not finished seeing this yet still on episode 53 but "The Agarwood is Still Burning but I'm Burnt Out"…
LOL thank you! I was pretty proud of the title as well. They kept mentioning the agarwood burning and such to the point where a voice in my head screamed, "but I'm so burnt out!"

The first part was indeed nice. I was scrambling to my laptop to watch the next aired episodes, but everything just fell apart as more tropes came in.

Title Immortal Samsara: Part 2 Spoiler
You gotta be freaking kidding me. This is a mess. Sure, Tao Ziqi can die and she doesn't need to love Liu Weiyang, but she didn't even say ONE word to him before she died. This is pathetic. He is such a good person and look what came of him. On the other hand, Huan Qi looked kinda sad when she died, I'd say, but not even 1/10 of the sadness that Liu Weiyang was showing. smh

As I'm writing an article for this drama, it becomes more and more apparent how unique LBFAD is from previous Xianxia dramas. The series has truly started a new era in the Xianxia world, with a more intriguing plot and characters with layers of personality. We can forget about Yun Zhong Jun (cough), but other than him, each and every one of the supporting characters shared their story with the audience. Even the lovely Mortal Arc in the drama is beautiful in a sense that shows the strong friendship between DFQC and Chang Heng, who before were the greatest of enemies.

im sorry but xuan ye's voice is so fking annoying its probably a voice dub but it clearly doesn't suit him at…
Lol it's Cheng Yi's real voice. His normal talking voice isn't that low, so I guess the director wanted to give Xuan Ye really mysterious and dark vibes.

Episode 15 is prob one of my favorite episodes. I've been looking forward to the parents' side story and I totally love it. I never knew that Cheng Yi's voice could be that low!
