I've never been so invested in a Xianxia OST since last summer, every single one of these songs is an absolute gem.

Yep! I actually didn't enjoy two of his other dramas - Meteor Garden and Miss the Dragon. Of course, it wasn't because of his acting (the plots were terrible) but it's obvious how hard he has worked to bring DFQC to life for us.

Yep, the novel is just called Si Ming. Not sure if it's translated, though.

He's improved immensely from his previous drama and this has really impacted the experience of this show.

Not only have Yu Shuxin and Wang Hedi done photoshoots, Hong Xiao (Jie Li) and Lin Bairu (Shangque) are taking this even more seriously. Their photos are absolutely GORGEOUS. I love how these actors have strong friendships both on and off the screen.

I literally live for this amazing OST. All the Cdrama OST kings and queens are here: Zhou Shen, Liu Yuning, Shuang Sheng, Shen Yicheng. Yu Shuxin's "Shi Yi" is simply beautiful.

Faye's "Jue Ai" is sung with longing and a faraway magical feeling, which somehow makes it unique from other Cdrama OSTs but extremely memorable.

There are 8 sung OSTs, and not even one of them seems like it is unnecessary.
