This episode release schedule is killing me. Anyways, pretty sure leads will officially be together on episode 18th. The schedule shows the apple and umbrella icon :D
1) Sang Yan is the ultimate green flag male lead 2) Sang Yan does not exist in real life 3) I really appreciate the "realisticness" of Wen Yifan's character and story---the struggles that many girls have to face constantly, and the strength she slowly gains back. 4) Whoever came up with this lead pairing is a genius 5) Silence Wang's OSTs NEVER disappoint (been putting his song on repeat for days) 6) This kind of sleepwalking only happens in dramas (sigh) 7) Nan Hong means "hard to coax." Yeah, the one episode per day thing is making me hard to coax. 8) Staring at a cat does NOT conjure up a Sang Yan. Or Bai Jingting. 9) I do not have patience for pretty boys like Mu Chengyun. 10) If a Cdrama actor says something about his co-star's weight again I am sticking my hand into the screen and slapping him because Zhai Xiaowen picked up both Zhang Ruonan and Zhang Miaoyi at the same time and spun them around. 11) Wen Yifan and Zhong Siqiao have the best friendship.
Okay...a few episodes in, this drama is EXTREMELY addicting! Idk what exactly it is, the well-paced plot, the characters, the effects, or all of them in one. It's very promising and I'm very excited.
I've said it before and I'll say it again...I truly hate when people rate episodes before they air. I wish the…
When it comes to MDL, I've learned to ignore the ratings and just enjoy what I enjoy. Too many haters everywhere for me to bother lol. The site itself also has a lot of things that need to be changed, but oh well.
Moonlight Mystique extra episode info regarding side characters:
Through Bai Shuo and Fan Yue's dialogue, we know that their family and friends have also been revived by "Tian Dao" or Heavenly Law.
This extra was shot half a year after the drama finished its production at Hengdian, hence why no other actors were present. Like someone else below said, it would have been amazing to see the other actors. But I'm glad to have confirmation that Bai Dad, Bai Shuo's Master, Bai Xi, Chong Zhao, Tian Hue, Cang Shan, and Mu Jiu are alive. Bai Shuo directly mentioned them.
LOL I can't with Chinese netizens 😭😭😭 They made a ship name for Zhen Yu and Luan Zhu: Zhen Zhu Nai Cha (Boba Milk Tea) and making AI videos of them hugging. But honestly, can those two just get married and exit the drama?? Or we can summon Sa Dingding to whisk Luan Zhu away 🙏
Those two aside, I'm really happy with this drama so far...well-written characters all around (especially the villains), amazing acting, amazing visuals, awesome OST.
If you’re looking for a hater who knows nothing about this drama go here
I can't be 100% sure, but this review seems like it was written by AI. The other reviews as well. There are a lot of AI trigger words here, and the review isn't specific at all. Seems like the user just put in a prompt like "Write a bad review for the drama Moonlight Mystique" without giving the ChatGPT platform additional details. Lol.
Watching the first feel episodes, I really feel like I stepped into the Tang Dynasty. The makeup and costumes were done especially well. Even the maids look like they came straight from the Tang period--their eyes and lips are done so well.
Omg my white moonlight (bai yue guang) couple is back 🥹🥹🥹 I'm so excited, all the Tang outfits are so pretty and the clips from the official drama account on social media are so heartwarming.

I was getting 'bored' with the drama but then it started picking up speed and now I'm totally hooked!
